the leather is pebbly, but i think needs to be broken in some. it puddles, but i think once i start lugging stuff around in it, it will soften even more. it's my first nikki, so i'm excited to break her in!

it came with a brown dustbag and a blue RM card, but no Vincent card-- did you ladies get one of those or are those only in the MA bags?

Congrats! That makes me even more excited to get mine. It's set to be delivered tomorrow!

To be honest, not sure about the Vincent card. I have two other Nikkis but I never paid attention to cards that came with it. I always assumed the Vincent card was in the MAB and MAMs b/c of the "morning after" name, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, the Vincent cards only come with MAM/MAB. Not Nikkis!

My Chocolate Nikki just came in from LB and I'm really disappointed with it. Both the front and back panels don't match, and and one side of the bag, the side-by-side panels don't match at all. On top of that, there is small black dot in the middle of the bag --- can't tell if it's a pen mark, but it's visible. There is also a black mark - about 2.5 inches, running near the bottom of the bag. Kind of like a pen mark. I tried wiping the marks off, but they aren't fading at all.

These are in addition to the numerous scratches --- not just little tiny ones --- but several noticable ones on the entire bag. I've never received an RM in such bad shape. If it came off of eBay and had been used, this would have been expected, but for a brand new bag that I paid full price for, it's ridiculous. I'm annoyed that that LB actually sent it to me in this condition.

I'm definitely going to return it and ask for a new bag! ARG!!!

oh my goodness!!! that is so un-like LB to send a bag out like that. sorry :( i would also notify Rebecca herself. i think she would want to know that bags are coming out of her factory in that condition. mis-matched panels is unacceptable!

To be honest I was a teeny tiny bit disappointd in the color. It's not as deep as I thought it'd be. Sort of a "surface" brown if that makes sense. And in inspecting if further my co-worker pointed out that the panels on one side of the bag don't even match in color. The texture was pebbly one one side, and smooth and the other.

That being said, I think my expectations were to high for the bag b/c it's one that I've been wanting for so long. Hopefully once I get the new bag and have had a chance to wear it I'll fall in love.

BTW: I talked to a CS rep at Luna Boston and he was very helpful in assisting me in exchange the bag --- thank goodness they have a really good (and free) return/exchange policy! I told him to please inspect the next bag they send me so that it's mark free.

Well, I hope you have better luck with the new one. I wonder if they'll sell the one you return to some poor unsuspecting soul. Unfortunately, 3 Sirens doesn't allow returns, although in the case of a defect, I'm sure they would. I'm hoping the color IRL is not too close to the caramel/almond but is a richer brown. What about the leather? Is the texture similar to another color that has already been produced? I can't wait to get mine tomorrow. :sad:

Awh, I'm so sorry this happened to you, I hope when your replacement comes you lover her as much as I love my Choco Nikki.

My heart sunk after reading tres post. I hope we don't have a problem with our 3 Sirens bags. . . I would hate to have to fight them for a return!

tres--I am SO SORRY to hear this. I was so surprised that LB would send out a bag like this. It really seems like if you get a well made, unblemished bag from RM these days then you're the minority not the majority
