Okay...so I keep reminding myself that I do have a beat-around bag...that would be my F05 black Balenciaga city (although it has not been beat-around, it could be, theoretically).

So...I am thinking about returning the olive to Nordstrom today...unless of course, someone from PF would like to provide a happy home...I don't think I can keep the olive and sacrifice Gladys...

Olive hobo was $1260 + 7.75% tax...$1357.65. PM me if you are interested or would like me to ask Nordstrom to hold for you.

I have seen the hobo in the chamois (BG pic below), medium dusty blue, luggage (medium tan/cognac), gold, olive, black, grey/taupe, and olive. BG indicates dimensions of the hobo are
12 1/2"H x 16"W x 5 1/2"D. Aloha Rag shows it in chocolate, luggage/tan, and white (pics below). AR shows dimensions as... Strap Length: 20 in. (h) 11 in. x (w) 15.5 in. x (d) 5.5 in.

The leather on the silverado bags is different from that of the Paddington and Edith styles. I don't really know how to describe it...it seems lighter and thinner than the Paddington, it is definitely softer than the Edith. Help me here silverado girls!

The top of the hobo has a zipper closure. Inside, there is one zipper pocket and one cell phone pocket. Sorry, camera batteries are dead after multiple bag purchases...so can't take photos until replenishment (batteries, that is!).









I have seen the large silverado tote in chocolate, black, medium dusty blue, and luggage (Nordstrom SA called it luggage anyway...BG calls it tan)

ET - SoCal gave you pretty much everything you'd ever need to know above, but I can share a little more insight on the leather. It's very different than either the leather on the Edith or the Paddy. The outer shell is buffalo leather (not calf) and very textured, but definitely not pebbled. It's pretty hardy. The trim and other parts are distressed and meant to be that way. Actually, some of the older Silverado's leather was very different, but this season's bags (both the hobo and tote) are all this combination and it's really nice.

I didn't like the Chamois in person in this particular bag because it looked two-toned - the bag was one color and the whipstitching another - it looked busy to me. Both the tote and the hobo have cell phone pockets, but keep in mind that the tote is WAY bigger than the hobo. They make a smaller tote size, but SoCal's is the large. It's gorgeous if you can wear really large bags!

Thanks SoCal and Style! Any idea whether Ron Herman carries the tote? How is the dusty blue color? Is it close to the jeans moyen color? I saw one in "clair blue" on LVR, but of course their pics are worthless...it looks like a Rainbow Brite bag!

I kinda like that Gladys shoulder bag/tote more than the regular. I think I love slouchy bags in general. SoCal, so you're returning both Olive hobo and Gladys?

Sorry...you said mousse POCKET...I thought you said mousse tote.:shame: I know how much the pocket is. If someone gets one in mousse, please post pics! Am overly eager to see it in this color!

Crap!! Why do I do this to myself?? I am trying so hard to avoid the boards so I don't find a bag I love and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that hobo SoCal. I love how it slouches and everything.
