My instincts are similar... I don't plan to use the python as an everyday bag (or take her to China). I like the black and chocolate, but agree choco looks better in pics.

I am strangely attracted to the olive...I would not have guessed it, but I am really liking this hobo and this color (I also tried the hobo in a beige/taupey/grey color at Chloe SCP and almost bought it...I tried the hobo in black and ivory/beige/tan at Nordstrom, but kept coming back to olive...Aloha Rag has the hobo in choco and I thought about that as well...and bought the olive...).

My class includes seminar and professional development practicum experiences. The students will work with Chinese children and adolescents in a summer camp setting. The Chinese children attend the camp in order to practice their conversational English skills and learn a bit about American culture. It is quite an experience for all!

Bedroom bags?? LOL, not unless they're toiletry bags. Shopping in Aus is not bad, of course nowhere as good as the US but if you come to Melbourne, the food is great and so is the coffee! I'm trying to rope HelenNZ into making a trip too, heh. She's not too far away, just across the Tasman Sea.

So are u any closer to deciding? I think from the consensus here, the olive hobo is leading the way as the fav, then maybe the choc tote..

I purchased the olive at Nordstrom. It is also available on the BG/NM website (under other colors of the hobo). Thank you!

Black is now packed...chocolate tote will go to Italy and China.

Brought DH into the mix...how he "loves" my bag-related feedback requests...he agrees, black looks too large, chocolate is better. He does not quite understand the olive hobo and black Gladys. He likes the olive color, but is not certain about the hobo style. He says about Gladys, "Well, I know you like her..."

So, still torn about olive hobo vs. black Gladys... Love the functionality and color of the hobo, but there is something about Gladys (damn her!)...

(And I really love my JC chocolate Ramona...really thinking about a black version...and I haven't used black pocket for a week...need to bring her into rotation...but, back to work next week...means black Gladys and/or chocolate Silverado may find love...the saga continues...)

Olive because you just HAVE TO HAVE that COLOR :nuts:

And yes, chocolate is perfect for the trip. Black goes packing, I agree.

Gladys is in an entirely different league and doesn't belong in this poll... not a great trip bag but like Olive, you just have to keep her. Well, maybe keep her one more week. :shame:

SoCal, have you seen this bag in the chamois color? Does RH have it? If so, I may have the solution to my Edith problem. NM and BG have the chamois. I have never been a Silverado fan, but I am really liking the shoulder version. I am mad for totes. Can you tell me about the leather? Is it pebbly like the Paddington bags? Or more like the Edith? How does the top close? Could you possibly get a pic from the top of the bag? And does it have a cell phone pocket inside? Thanks!

I vote for keeping Gladys:cry: ( I love her!! ) and the Choco silverado. I'm not a silverado fan at all but it'll be good for travel.

I don't like the olive. I would rather get another bag entirely than get the olive. But that's me :D
