MP moussie survived today as I wanted to wear a “statement piece,” so I pulled it out of the rehome pile and went to work with Goode’s scarf rings to wrangle the the 140cm to show off 1) MP head; and 2) more blue/teal/orange than yellow/green, now that I’ve piled onto the orange & teal bandwagon with @papertiger and @bobkat1991 ...

I say WORK because took at least 30 minutes to put that together with two d’ancre rings—the great thing I learned is to use them “backwards” so they fall toward my body instead of out into space.

So, anticlimax moment, above.

Scary, OMG!!!!!! Moment Below:

I'm glad it's working for you  and although I'm all about the chartreuse and turquoise today, I am newly awoken to the teal/orange bandwagon.

I have kittens every time one of mine goes anywhere near any one my scarves but I always remember they're much better now that they are not actually kittens. Obviously yours has very good taste, such a magnificent bird, hoping no feathers were ruffled - particularly yours (what a gorgeous baby).

I was already sweating the 140cm wrestling match, only a few more drips from cat attack.
BTW: beautifully written graph!
And thanks for complimenting the pussy too impatient to let groomer finish her lion cut — ever!

I like this fabric of chiffon. The scarf stays where you put it! Perfect for summer. It lays airy round your neck, you will not easily sweat.

This is just super on you Holsby! (I regularly watch the US website just in case they ever come back online...don't have a lot of hope. I waited almost 7 moths before I gave up on Sweet Dreams. Animapolis coming next week instead (finally) after seeing Cosmographia and making a choice.)

Just in my experience, I do not find the mousselines to be any more fragile than the cashmeres (or at least the cashmeres before they changed the cashmere-to-silk ratio a year or two ago).

I agree. The older silk moussies (before say 2012-ish???) are built like tanks and I haven't really had any major problems with any of mine regardless of year. Downside is if you do break a thread, it's a done deal and difficult to mend though light pulls are fairly easy to rearrange. Cashmere does run, but even with a break in the thread, it can be woven back in with a magnifier and a fine needle.

I'm so glad you did! It's lovely and bright! (oooh- those long hair kitties! I remember well the Summer of Shaving when I last had a true long hair.)
