Thank you Sickgrl! Yes! I've seen this also called Toile de Hermes (Toile H for short) and Toile de Jouy, but when I look up Toile de Jouy sometimes that name is attached to pics of actual lace of the design and occasionally of other imagery in cottons. So I'm coming to the conclusion that a Toile de Jouy may be an umbrella term for fabric with sketch imagery like this. Maybe @orchard will show us a pic of the page from 2005 and help us out!



Thank you FlaTiger! There are a few pics of one early in this thread (around page 7-10 or so). It also came in a regular smooth mousseline as a changeant....yessss....reallly.......:loveeyes: And I recently saw a fringed version of it on the bay in hot pink and also turquoise.

We are cousins on this one, Bcat! I have a fuchsia problem and could not resist the bright pink with fringe...it is a bit out there, but fun!!

Thank you textilegirl! I really love the casual lightweight feel of this. It's going to be fabulous for summer. (Did I really say 140 doesn't work on me???? I mean, I know I did, but famous last words....) I think the shawls DO work better on me, but that has apparently not stopped me collecting several 140's....:lol:

W00t! :nuts: So happy to be cousins with you Luvbolide! I have seen a few pics of the fringed fuchsia one, and its so pretty! It doesn't happen to be changeant does it???

Alas, no, the fuchsia is not changeant. I have been buying H moussie for so many years, it no changeant yet. Boy, would I like to change that, but I am finding the moussies soooo difficult to find! Hate that!

There are a few changeant running around out there but they often don't get labeled that way. I think Jan had or has a pretty blue one up.
