I had a mousseline plisse for a while, and while I liked the texture of it, I haven't really been able to make the plisse format work for me, so I let it go. But then I saw this shawl in a crinkle crepe mousseline and thought that if it worked out, then it might be amazing to have a similar texture to plisse, but bigger format and that would be a very cool thing and very nearly as special as La Rosee in its own right.

So I am very pleased that I was right! And without further ado let me present my NTM Toile Hermes in Rouge H (to go with my Bolide, of course!) which I think was designed by Sophie de Seynes.

The crinkle crepe is very light, does not slip around like regular mousseline and is very "fluffy". So if this is what un ironed mousseline does, well, it's not so bad! (This is one mousse I would never even hope to wash because I'd never be able to be sure the fabric would wrinkle back the way it is supposed to be.)

What a perfect piece, Bunnycat you model this so beautifully it's fantastic on you.

frou frou, so happy you've found your perfect size, and it looks lovely with mohair! :smile: I wish they'd bring back 90s. I'd always felt a 90 would feel too wispy, but realized otherwise once they were gone!

I stand corrected! H is doing an excellent job of making me find ways to spend my money other than on scarves.

I'm just catching up to this bunnycat and it's wonderful on you! There's some volume, but not so much as a 140 which, IIRC doesn't suit you so you get t the best of all worlds. Plus, it's fab with the bolide:heart:
