Originally I did not want a stole. I just love those BIG GM shawls. But as I started wearing those beautiful CeI stoles I really love the way they make me feel. They make me feel light, swishy, girlie, ..........and something must show in my demeanor cuz. People
Seem to compliment that look. I do not have much experience with mousses but this season is killing my wallet! Those mousses". Love em

I know! Love the GMs!! Oh Bonnie!! You too!?!? Enable enable enable!! My wallet is going to kill ME! Lol ;)

D Lee, I agree, this is such a great pattern, I told my SA I could take all as long as the cw makes me look good... ;)
I adore all the cw, but since I'm not very good with deep coloration scarves, looks like my money tree is safe!

Your money tree is safe only as long as u don't put the CeI stole around your neck.

You ladies are so right! I want the turquoise, and the raspberry and the green............I am in trouble. I wore the brown with pink edge today, and I just fell in love again. There is a different feel with a moussie stole, I think, (but am not certain) that I may actually prefer the stole to the 140 CM....................the stole is just light, easy...............you know what I mean! Enable here, enable there, enable, enable, enable everywhere!

Wow, took awhile to catch up here - love all of the gorgeous photos of the beautiful moussies. I am so disappointed at my boutique, I go in weekly and always ask about them, but they so rarely have anything. And what they do have is not in cws that I can wear. Arghhhhhhhhhh.... I love the mousselines and can wear them year round. I guess I will have to content myself with some of my older versions...how depressing!

Hi Bjostone! :)

So this is side by side pic.

Left is cw03 poudre irise/corail/vert. It has brown rolled hem.
Right is cw06 lipstick/corail/prune
Two are different but somehow works on me, love both.

Hiyopura and Ayala_Jessica: You ladies are sooooo baaaaaaaaaad!
I agree with Bonnie. Enable here, enable there, enable everywhere!

So many great designs in mousse this season made it really difficult for me to decide. Each and every design has its own uniqueness. I had asked me the very questions: What are the ones that I really am going to wear right tomorrow? This weekend? With my most frequent outfits? Which ones will make my heart melt every time I open the scarf box (like my APdP mousse). And the answers are much clearer. Not this and that that are to pair with a dress or top that I wear maybe twice a year. Not this and that because it may grow on me. If it already grew, great, if it has not yet, next please. Mousselines are not cheap and I can't really hoard in multiples and multiple colorways for each like 90cm silk twill. Geez, I'm my own enemy :sweatdrop:.
sorry for the long musing (gotta repeat this when I go to the boutique next time)

:graucho:Ahhhh, good point! I need my tree to grow until the day I see PdV mousse coming this fall, so...I will...try...not to...

:pbad bad me!:p

I love your "questions"! The one I like best is "Which ones will make my heart melt every time I open the scarf box?"
This is a clever way to find out which mousse to bring home with me! Must ask myself next time.
Yes, it must be worn not confined in the orange box, chances are only 365 a year.
This might sound nuts but everyday I keep record of what I wore in my smartphone so that I will know which most works with my wardrobe.
So far my CeL is doing well.

Wish you best luck for discovering your best mousee !

You gals are toooooooooooooo much! So, So, So, funny!

Hiyopura is right that Chestnutty is "right on"...................what really matters is how the moussie makes you feel when you open that box. It is so crazy, we all have beautiful shawls/stoles/scarves in boxes that we don't wear, and it is so easy to forget them. I am really, really, really going to make myself follow that philosophy. I get so anxious and crazed and caught up in the frenzy and thought that I will never find another shawl/stole/scarf like that again!

Oh woe is me.....................................wailing.............howling.............sobs................sighs.....grow up bonnie!

Now, D Lee was also right when she said something to the effect that "your $ is safe as long as you do not put the moussie around your neck!" I LOVE IT! So true!

In my latest frenzy, I have messed up and need help. I found the allegedly last CEI in green, CW 04. However, in Ayala Jessica's picture # 3155 I thought I saw 3 different CeI's: a blue-turquoisey colored moussie (in addition to the purple and green). I wanted to get the turquoise - it is the stole that is in the far bottom right of the picture.............does anyone know what the CW is for that one? Or, is it just a continuation of the 04 green?

I am a little anxious about this 'cause I used a "credit" to get the 04, and I dread the thought of returning the green .............know what I mean? Also, if I do return the green and someone is looking for it, I will give you all the info so you can call the store and have them put it on hold for you.

Phew, I am silly, but thanks in advance for understanding. LOVE those Moussie's and you TPF'ers! help........................pls!

Hello Moussies's!
I think that the CeI which I mis-took for being turquoise was actually just part of the CW 04. So then I looked at the list of CeI cw's (thank you Hiyopura for listing that info) and I saw 09 blue Glacier, Turquoise/Rose. Called Hermes and was told that currently there are not any CW 09's in the US . Has anyone seen this? I am crazed. I have fallen in love with the CeI moussie!

Chestnutty,
THANK YOU! You are such a sweet heart. This is not the first time you have helped me out, and I really appreciate it. You are so knowledgeable regarding Hermes, and the Purse Forum. You also have a great eye, and are so computer smart and organized. I bet you know a lot about many different topics......."Smart Chestnutty". In any event, am thankful for all of your help. Hope I can reciprocate someday. xoxo, bonnie

I am sorry, technically challenged. But I think it is okay now.

For me, it was difficult taking pictures of moussie's. Had them on bed, and tried with curtains both drawn and not drawn. These pictures do not do these moussie's justice.

Here are some notes:
1) Chasse En Inde - 01 purple. I think a particularly pretty stole

2) Coup de Fouet - this picture is deceptive. If you are a "spring" or have green in your eyes, the chartreuse should make those eyes pop. I think the shawl photographed, "dull" but it is not - it looks better on, than in a picture - I guess you would say it "ties well".

3) Pink Flots - this is the stole which is advertised on the Hermes site. The truest picture is the one with the tag. It is bright

4) Blue Flots - I was not going to get the blue - had the pink Glad I did it is a very pretty scarf. Much brighter and livlier than picture.

5) Chasse Lipstick corail prune (06) - pictures do not do this scarf justice. Truest picture is the picture with the tag

6) Quadrige - 06 this has been posted before, my pic is relatively useless

7) Quadrige - 02 Azur/Kaki/Petrol the kaki seems to show my eyes (greenish) Again, relatively useless pic.

8) Chasse 5 The Blue Jean Mauve this is a beauty which pictures do not do justice
It has a lavendar, grey, beigey, peachey tone with that beautiful pink border - IMO it is a sophisticated stole, but yet so sweet with that pink border.

9) Soie Polo - very pretty Blue Lac Vert 05. Very pretty combo o greens and blues,
a very happy stole.

Sorry my pictures were so limited, and this is not really organized. I have limitations re: technology and for me it is a challenge to capture the magic of moussie's . Hope this was a little helpful, and not a frustration, best, Bonnie

Hello Bonnie!

Did you end up keeping CW02 of the Quadrige stole, Azur/Khaki/Petrol? I'd love to see modelling snaps if you've able. I saw this one in my boutique earlier in the season, and am now thinking maybe I should have gotten it! :wondering Any thoughts or photos appreciated!

And also wondering about the other CWs offered, in the Quadrige stole. Does anyone have photos to share? I had high hopes for this, and for the Quadrige GM Dip Dye, but both seem scarce!

I did not end up keeping all of the Moussie's. I will look to see what I kept in the Quadridge (if any but one). I know that Bergdorf had the Quadridge in peach. I think I bought the Quadridge GM Dip Dye maybe in green. I will look and post. Perhaps you can find something in one of the regular stores, as opposed to an Hermes. Or inquire at Poupishop........................she has been really great to me. Never a problem. I will look and see what I can dig up. I need a system, I do not know what I have, other than controlled (?) chaos and orange boxes. Best, me

Many thanks for your reply, and for looking in your pile of goodies! :smile1:

Bonnie - you're most welcome. I love enabling others :D. I appreciate the photos of your mousselines. Very helpful!
I admit I stalk tPF quite a bit and often have a habit of doing thorough research here before purchasing. I'm bad at returning scarves or selling on the bay (can always come up with a reason or two to keep :p), so I only buy the things I'm sure I'd be really happy to give a forever home to (knock on wood).

Chance upon this colourway of Chasse en Inde in the boutique, 05 rose the/bleu jean/mauve. Didn't expect this cw would work on me but not only it did, it might even surpasses the purple cw for me. It brightens up my complexion with a glow. My photo is not doing it much justice here but it's absolutely soft and ethereal in person.
