Ms Piggy, D Lee, Hiyopura, Bjostone - My pleasure to assist fellow mousse lovers :smooch:. We all know how difficult it is to buy mousselines when most boutiques don't have all cws (if any) and there's no catalog to choose from. I also find it's great to have a reference online, especially when I often forget my cw# note every single time I get to the boutique :shame:. Now I'll just have to open tPF from my cellphone and charge-send away!

Ms Piggy - I blame you on my Uniqlo cashmere sweater purchase :giggles:. I love Uniqlo - my first purchase from them was a shirt in Soho (NYC) and it lasts for ages! Glad they offer online shopping now.

May I ask you for some advice ?

I would like to buy my first mousseline and I cannot decide which one I should take :
Ors Bleus d' Afrique cw 01 Fuchsia/Turquise/Vert/Framboise or Chevaux de Karnak cw 04 Jaune/Vert/Caramel or Chevaux de Karnak cw 09 ?

I am blonde and fairy skinned and unfortunately, as I will buy them on-line I cannot try them on or see in IRL.

Any thoughts or suggestions ? Many thanks in advance !:smile1:

Would u consider getting both? My SA told me H won't be putting out any mousselines for AW14. Nothing is known about 2015. I don't even know if I should believe my SA.

Are you thinking about those on poupishop website? Just IMHO, if this is your first mousse, go for something really ornate, you will appreciate H mousselines much more. So I'd say go for Ors Bleus d'Afrique, there are plenty of details and it layers up really really well.
Chevaux de Karnac - I think the design looks best in jersey 90cm format, especially the black bordered cw or violet/fuchsia bordered cw. The contrast is TDF! It's beautiful in mousseline as well, but with your complexion and blonde hair, wearing that changeante in yellow may be too much. I think people with blond hair and fair skin looks best in turquoise, blue, pink, and corail. But again it's just my opinion.
I think Hopiko has blond hair and fair skin as well and she owns a Chevaux de Karnac mousse, perhaps you should PM her for opinion?
And, there will be a Peuple du Vent mousse this Fall, so you'll be even more amazed :graucho:.

We're twins. I just got the same cw from my boutique today :graucho:. And you're right, mousselines are addictive; they have great drapery quality and bring out the very feminine/elegant side of us. Just like walking with cloud floating on your neck :love:.

I am a natural blond with fair skin and blue eyes and totally agree with chestnutty's assessment on great color choices for our complexions! O BdA is a great moussie and a great choice! My sister, who has a similar complexion got the sea foam green cw with the olive border and purple accents and it is AMAZING!!! Please post pictures when you get it!
