Found a FABULOUS 140 changeant blue/brown "Les Flots du Cheval" 10 days ago, but it had an awful long run just in the middle, and unhappily was the one and only in the store... SA put it directly in a plastic bag on its way for the sale. Sooo sad !

Oh no! Can your SA have it sent from another store? Are you in Germany (a guess based on user name)-- it's usually so quick to have things sent within the network there. I hope you can get your hands on it!

I guess this is a good reminder to check the moussies carefully before purchase at the Paris sale.

I live in Paris, and this took place at FSH ! My SA told me she had just this one, and did not know when she would be able to get another one. And the french site is desperately empty as for moussies... Hope I'll be able to put my hands on this one in good shape, it's just wonderful !

And you nailed it, we need to pay attention when buying from Paris sales especially for the current year models, as the sales mainly provides 18 monthes old scarves.

And here is cw 10. At first I was unsure about it, but it's so beautiful in a really unusual way that it has really grown on me! I'm not sure how well it goes with my colouring, but it's really unlike anything else in my collection!
The more I look at this, the more I want one!!! Oh you little enabler bem! ;)

Pretty! Looks perfect with your outfit!
Thank you hopiko!! I think the outfit was chosen after I decided I wanted to wear this moussie.. Lol ;)

This looks terrific with your purple top! Love how you've tied it, too.
Thanks calexandre... It was a simple inifinty loop.. As in just, around the neck, tie in front, cross and loop over head.. :)

I love your CdF cw10 as well. At first I thought it would be too dark for spring/summer. But eventually I found it goes with most of my wardrobe. It looks exceptional the way u tied it. Very good purchase!
Thank you D lee!! Me too! These are all the colors I wear too and that are in my wardrobe - dark... I'm slowly trying to incorporate more color into my wardrobe (outside of just the silks). :)

Today I went to pick up the Chasse en Inde cw5. I have read that this design has been issued in more formats that u can imagine & is an H classic. I would say that the animals are depicted in detail & very vividly as well. Love this moussie!

So pretty, D Lee, thanks so much for posting! Could you post the reference number, and color names as listed on the tag or receipt?

I don't think it's going to the sale, it's usually to be shred for upholstery filling.

Thx etoile. Pls see the attachment.

Sending many thanks! :smile1:
D Lee - Thank you for the pic.
I went to my boutique today, touched this exact cw and said the fabric was too thin for a regular moussie and my SA swore it's not a changeante. Your pic of the tag indeed confirmed my suspicion.
Btw, it has the cutest mauve/lavender contrast hem . Great choice!

Hi Chestnutty,
I am going to relate to u my moussie purchase experience yesterday but pls do not roll on the floor with laughter. As this is my first moussie stole, I asked my SA why this is so expensive in relation to the 140 moussie. My SA answered that it took a lot of skill to make sth so much thinner than ordinary 140 moussie. Then I asked if it could change color. She replied in the negative & informed me that very rarely do moussie stoles change color. She was actually holding the plastic bag with the tag in which the moussie came from Paris!

Hey D...

Congrats on your lovely new purchase! So are the stoles more expensive than the 140cm mousses?

Thx bem! Yes, the area of the stole is 63 cm x 180cm & costs US$949. Whereas the 140 moussie has a surface area of 140 x 140cm & costs US$1077 locally.
Bem, I saw your gorgeous capucine shoulder B on display. As usual, there is no price tag. Would u mind telling me how much u pay for it? Thx!
