And the fact that some stores don't buy them and so do, makes it even more confusing. I just got the fuchsia Axis Mundi and now I see the Les Flots de Cheval in rose flo, too close and too similar?

calexandre, your pics of AM certainly helped a lot in my decision (plus the SAs all picked 07 when I was deciding on 07 and 08). Both cw are just beautiful.

Would love to hear comments/feedbacks on cw12 Flots from those who have seen it in person or better still with pics of it IRL. Agree it's more tone-on-tone. Perhaps if the colours IRL are more rouge, it would be "justifiable" to have both prints, LOL!

Thanks, I think it's quite close to Axis Mundi 07 Fuchsia Jaune/Ardoise/Rose. If the Les Flots de Cheval 12 Rose Fluo/Rouge/Violet is more red, it might work.

I have just purchased Axis Mundi 07. And then I saw Chestnutty's post on les Flots de Cheval 12 which I like the print but thought similar in terms of colouring to the AM 07. But if the les Flots is more red (and less pinky red like the AM), perhaps it's ok to have both. I think inventory is still tricking in so you might still be able to find the les Flots 12.

ms piggy, did you get to see les Flots du Cheval CW 12 in real life yet? I saw it a few days ago and I can see why it's called "rose fluo" as it is fluorescent! I think it is definitely different to Axis Mundi CW7, which is pinky red, as you said. FdC CW12 is very bright fuschia-y pink, yet it has some warmer elements to it - a darker and warmer red border, with parts of the pattern in a brownish colour, similar to gold Clemence (IIRC). Not sure if that helps... I hope I am making some sense. Oh, and I could see the changeant effect very clearly in store.

Thank you xiangxiang, vivala and calexandre for you compliments. I have a feeling H will reissue this design soon. It was first released in 2007, and I think the mousseline was issued 2009? There is one on the Bay in a kiwi green FYI.

I would love a 140 of this design in a mousse or summer silk.

This is different from the silk muslin (chiffon) being generally discussed in this thread. The cotton muslin is very different in terms of weight and texture.
