Curious to know if one of the sales items are in the stores, can you get it at 20% off with additional 25% off for the presale?

Nope, you can't You either get 25% off or 20% off from the code faves, I went to ask them yesterday.

Okay, now I think I understand. I misunderstood the original question. ilysukixD is right, you can't use the 20% off FAVES code and then also presale an item for an additional 25% off. However, I thought the FAVES code was only for online use, but I could be wrong. But if you go in store and see something on sale or clearance, you can presale it for an additional 25% off.

Sorry I wasn't being clear, but you can either use the code: faves online and get additional 20%off or if they happens to have the sale bags in the store you can get additional 25% off from the VIP presale. I ordered my bag online, and hopefully it will arrive by Tuesday night, so I can presale it. :graucho:

Need opinions please: I bought a MK at Macy's, it was already marked down on the website to 200.99, but not in the store, so I told the SA and she matched it. Well when I scanned my card, it said I could get 20% off of that, she rang it up for the presale. I don't understand for one why I couldn't get 25% off $200 since it was the presale and two if I ordered it online I would have gotten an extra 20% off making it with tax $170, so I thought maybe I could get another 25% off for the presale but the SA said no, that is double dipping. Does that sound right?

Ok, never mind, reading above I got my answer. Bummer!

Thank you, I just found that out a few minutes ago when I tried it! If you see above, you'll see my comments about it. I don't understand though why I wasn't given the option to do the 25% off for the presale instead of just the 20% and if I was only offered the 20%, why I couldn't take it today!

The SA should have given you the 25% off for the presale instead of just 20% off. She probably reasoned that since you were using the website price that she would only give you the website discount.

It didn't make sense to me, she said whatever comes up on the computer is what you get (she told me that after I asked about the additional 25% off).

Unfortunately, if you don't have the VIP pass to show them, SAs can pretty much get away with anything. It's unfortunate she didn't honor the presale discount, but at least you got the website sale price + 20% off.

She is treating it like a presale, that's what gets me, I should have been able to take it home. The SA working with her as I was looking around mentioned the presale and getting 25% off the bags. I forgot the VIP pass at home, part of me just wants to return it now! It's only $10 difference, but still!

Why don't you go back with your VIP pass and speak to another SA or the MK department manager and explain the situation. They should be able to give you a price adjustment for the full 25% off. If not, then tell them you want to take the bag home since it technically does not qualify for a presale because you only got 20% off. If they are extremely difficult, then tell them you want your money back! Then, if you have another Macy's in your area, you can try again at another location.
