I was able to do a presale hold today at Macys. I put a wallet that I'd been eyeing on hold for 25% off to pick up on the 17th....😀

When I went to pay, the SA said she could do the presale for 25% off & I'd just have to pick it up on the 17th. Ohhh yeahhh!!!! Love this bag!!!

Yes, if you go to a Macy's store and see an item on sale or clearance, you can presale it and get an additional 25% off!!! If you have the VIP pass, make sure to bring it so a SA doesn't try to prevent you from taking advantage of the presale.

The 25% off presale is now! (9/8 through 9/16) The VIP 20% off sale is 9/17 through 9/21. I don't think you need to be a Macy's cardholder to take advantage, but VIP passes were only mailed to Macy's preferred customers (i.e., Macy's cardholders). You don't need the VIP pass to get the presale 25% off in store, but some SAs will make it difficult to get the presale discount without the VIP pass.
