Very good deal! The one I bought on e-bay several years ago was quite dirty too and I was able to clean it up pretty good! I think I got mine for like $110 and I thought I was getting a good deal then....
I think Coach really gave these fabric wallets a good coating of stain resister when they made them. I've always had pretty good success at cleaning dirty fabric wallets for some reason...

I really liked the color(s) of that bag. I had one too and returned it because of the size. Good thing I did because I would have been really disappointed in the finish wearing off as well.

What color is it? Sometimes you can get them on ebay. I think you can get one from Coach but I'm not sure. There is an ebay seller that sells replacement straps for Coach. If it is black, it will be easy to match. Replacement straps cost upwards of $20, I think. How much did you get it for, if you don't mind my asking? My Macy's didn't have them. I bought mine on ebay and it didn't come with the strap either but I have plenty of other straps that would work.

Just wanted to let you know that, after calling all the Macy's in my area, all the Coach boutiques, and finally, the last Coach factory store in the pacific NW, I was able to get (almost) a perfect match! The only difference is the edge finishing. The SA said it was from another gold Poppy bag, so the strap that originally came with the sequin bag may have even been this exact style. Totally lucked out! :sweatdrop:

Great! I'm glad it worked out for you. Did you have to pay for it? Why would they have an extra strap lying around? Wouldn't that leave that bag without a strap?
