I just checked the Bal website and they say the croc embossed hourglass is lined with agneau nappa.
Yes I noted that exception above. Neo Classics and Hourglass bags are already lined in leather, so they shed no light on the croc/no croc debate. There may be other styles that are always lined in leather. Like the nylon Raver! Definitely not croc
EDIT: adding the XX Flap to the list of bal bags that are always leather lined.

Me too. Mostly on purpose.
I am by no means an expert and sometimes its really hard to tell b/c the stamping can be really good, mimicking authentic croc with uneven scales etc. but imo this is embossed and not authentic.
That listing from FP looks like the exact bag too? Its being sold in CA which means they have to be really careful…..FP limits how many exotic bags they buy b/c they can only sell them from their NY location now. I’ve sold a bunch of exotics to them and had a chat about it with a personal shopper.
Either way, its a beautiful bag — i am a sucker for blue bags - and the leather lining is so nice and luxe

the owner is so nice, I asked about a weekender they had if I could see the tag back and front and the back of the mirror, he sent the photos to my email within few hours. Note that he is in Germany so for some here there is a large time difference to take into account.
I also had a prompt answer (considering time difference). Try asking if price is firm, he dropped 10% when I asked.
Wish they were in Germany, haha. They're located in Sweden. Got a couple of my BVs from them. Great seller and mostly decent priced bags.
