Agree. One area where Bal outdid its early vintage performance is in some of the hardware finishes. This and the satin golds on the holiday hamiltons, the darker satin pewter hardware on some of their LE metallics and the hardware on the blackouts are to die for.

They are either darker or the light is showing dark purple like that, if I were to buy it, I would ask the seller for closeup photos of handles

I would probably ask if the handles are dirty / darkened / sticky and see what the seller comes back with.

All of their prices are insane; they have a Gris Pyrite City for $2700 on VC, yet when I go to their website they have the exact same bag for $5600. WTF???
