This type of association is what most leading men want - in Hollywood, attention is a life saver. If nobody knows who you are, you are in trouble. I think these gossip sites have stretched these remarks by Charlie w-a-a-y out of what was intended. I believe that Morgana handles her place in Charlie's life far better than some of his fans. After all, she has been in his life much longer that his fans who seem to think that they know his personal life more than she does. If you are a real fan of a celeb, you are that for a reason, bad and good.

Studiocanal Acquires Charlie Hunnam, Robert Pattinson’s ‘Lost City of Z’ for Multiple Territories (EXCLUSIVE)

PARIS– Pan-European major Studiocanal has acquired James Gray’s anticipated “Lost City of Z,” starring Charlie Hunnam, Robert Pattinson, Sienna Miller and Tom Holland, in multiple territories.

Studiocanal will distribute the action-adventure film in France, the U.K., Germany and Australia/New Zealand.

Sold by Sierra/Affinity, “Lost City of Z” is produced by Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner via Plan B Entertainment along with Anthony Katagas and Dale Johnson.

Based on David Grann’s 2009 novel, “Lost City of Z” follows the adventures of Percy Fawcett, a soldier and explorer who embarked with his son on an expedition to find the mythical kingdom of El Dorado in the Amazon jungles of Brazil and disappeared.

The ambitious pic marks Gray’s follow-up to “The Immigrant,” his 2013 period drama with Marion Cotillard that world premiered in competition at Cannes. “Lost City of Z,” however, is not expected to play in Cannes since it’s still in early post and will not be completed in time for the festival.

MadRiver Pictures’ Marc Butan is exec producing with Mica’s Julie B. May and Glenn Murray. Mica Entertainment is financing.

“Lost City of Z” shot in Belfast, Northern Ireland and in Colombia. Sierra/Affinity unveiled a promo at the EFM.

Watch: First Trailer For James Gray’s ‘The Lost City Of Z’ Starring Charlie Hunnam & Robert Pattinson

Director James Gray (“Two Lovers,” “The Immigrant”) had been trying to get “The Lost City Of Z” made for several years. And while his big star, Brad Pitt, dropped out a long time ago, his production company Plan B stayed on board through many of its ups and downs and finally shepherded the movie to the screen. There had been other iterations, with Benedict Cumberbatch once attached to star, too.

But the movie ultimately stars “Pacific Rim” and “Crimson Peak” lead Charlie Hunnam, plus a supporting cast that includes Robert Pattinson, Sienna Miller, and Tom Holland. And so when it rains, it pours. Yesterday, Holland (who is also the new “Spider-Man” in the Marvel films) posted a first look of the film on yesterday, and today, the first official trailer — a sales version — has surfaced (though it’s been quietly online for a month, apparently).

Set during the 1920s, “The Lost City Of Z” centers on the legendary British explorer Percy Fawcett (Hunnam), who ventured into the Amazon jungle in search of a fabled civilization and never returned. Robert Pattinson co-stars as his fellow explorer Henry Costin, and Sienna Miller plays his his wife Nina Fawcett.

Described as an action-adventure, in Gray’s hand this new sales trailer is somewhat reminiscent of “Apocalypse Now,” and given the filmmaker is an avowed Francis Ford Coppola fan, you’ll probably see more of that influence in the movie itself (as well as that of David Lean, whom Gray said was an major inspiration on the film) via the cinematography of the great Darius Khondji (who shot “The Immigrant”).

Recent reports said “The Lost City Of Z” would not be ready until the fall, so it could turn up at the Venice International Film Festival instead. There’s obviously no release date or distributor yet; a festival bow will have to come first. But with the package of Gray, this cast, and Pitt’s Plan B, securing a distributor shouldn’t be difficult. Check out the new sales trailer below

The First Trailer for “The Lost City of Z” Pits Charlie Hunnam Against the Amazon [VIDEO]

The Lost City of Z trailer

By Ben Lester

James Gray’s (We Own the Night, The Immigrant) adaptation of David Grann’s best-selling biographical novel The Lost City of Z is slated to arrive in theaters this fall and has received its first epic trailer courtesy of Paramount Pictures. Set in the 1920s, it stars Sons of Anarchy lead Charlie Hunnam as Lt. Colonel Percy Fawcett, a British explorer charged with finding the City of Z in South America.

Paramount’s three-minute trailer dives into the rich world of Brazil as Fawcett contends with harsh conditions of the Amazon and cannibal tribes. Devoted to his quest, Fawcett adapts to his surroundings and forms uneasy relationships with the Amazonian natives. His most famous expedition, traveling into the depths of South America to discover the lost city of gold, has left many historians clueless as to Fawcett’s fate. In 1925, Fawcett and his son Jack went missing during their quest. Many believe the tribes he communed with eventually turned on him.

The Lost City of Z also stars Robert Pattinson as his fellow explorer Corporal Henry Costin, Sienna Miller as his wife Nina, and Tom Holland, his son Jack. Brad Pitt, who was originally attached to star as Percy Fawcett, produced the film, which still awaits a concrete release date.

Check out the trailer up top.
