How sad is it that Charlie has to write a letter to some of his so called "fans" asking them to cease & desist their attacks on Morgana. Because he does not use social media he asked that his good friend Tina release the letter for him.

Have you read the email? For a guy who's that private about his personal life that's a lot of emotional sharing. If you fake it at least fit it to his personality. And why should he care about what people on the internet say about his girlfriend AND then forward an email to a closed FB group in an effort to reach as many people as possible? It's not science, it's logic!
He's currently in England (probably) doing re-shoots. He couldn't care less about the internet.

Don't believe we know enough about celebrities or, for that matter, ordinary, everyday people to determine what they will or will not do under certain circumstances. Most personalities can grow weary of biting, mean commentary from others; I don't like to read constant criticism of Morgana, and I don't know her at all. What we will or will not do is hard to determine sometimes. I would guess that the nasty attitudes about Morgana come from jealousy.

Charlie has confirmed the email was in fact real, on the fb page he sent a video saying it was legit

Yeah but his publicist had it taken down again because it's a total PR mess. He should've never gotten into those petty fights. The video just made it worse. He also only said he approved the message, not that he's written it which you can tell by the words used in the email and the ones he used in the video. No mention of the content of the email. If I take the time to make a video I'd use it to shut it down once and for all by addressing everything not just making some vague statement. This is a huge stinking pile of sh*t.
I assume Charlie knows how long he's been in a relationship with Morgana so why are they suddenly together for 11 years? It's not working out 'cause at the time he was still with either Georgina or Rashida Jones. He was also in Europe shooting Green Street so how was he supposed to meet Morgana?

Ah, I see. They have put it back on. I hadn't checked back since the weekend so didn't know.
But still, all that drama could've been avoided if he had some official page instead of letting some fan page do the talking for him. I know he doesn't like social media but even other actors that used to be against it now do it and still don't necessarily have to share personal details. They use it for film promo or, like in this case, to issue official statements. I mean he doesn't even have to do it himself. He's got a publicist for that. Anyway ...

One could argue the merits of his choice to post a response to the nasty "fans" but that was his decision and I applaud him for defending his longtime girlfriend. Yes, he asked his long time friend to post the message on a closed board because they knew it would be reposted and the message would be get out there and indeed it did. For all those who thought it was a fake because they knew him so well that wasn't the case. Unfortunately, Charlie had to make a video to authenticate his message and to apologize to his long time friend for the flack she took for posting the message.


One has to wonder if the so called "fans" who are the nasty culprits here will even "get" the message he tried to convey to them.


Here's the reality check for those so called "fans". You are never going to be his girlfriend, he is never going to fall in love you. If you have to spew all that venom at his girlfriend for you to feel better about yourselves, then maybe you need some professional help.
