I see that on Charlie's imdb page "The Mountain Between Us" is no long listed nor is it listed on Rosamund Pike's page either. Maybe the project fell through.

It's sad to see him let so many parts go. But I guess it is what it is.

It's still on his IMDbPro page. As well as American Drug Lord and Pacific Rim 2. It's still in its script stage and has a 2017 release date so I think they removed it until they get further ahead.

I think you are right. Don't know why we don't see Charlie in a lead role. Know that he doesn't have that experience in his past, but you gotta start somewhere!

I read one of his interviews that said he came to LA because he thought he belonged there. He does seem to lean very much in the way of Californians so, I guess, that we think more of him as an American.
