You should look at the stock tread here. I see the classic caviar WOC with ghw pretty consistently. I attached a photo of it.

While I used it a lot initially I find myself not reaching for it anymore. Just doesn’t fit everything I need and I have to constantly leave something behind

I saw a YouTube video and it does expand quite a bit

Had it for 4 year and wore it maybe a few times.
It was really too small for me.

I glide my WOC in my backpack to work (because I commute and bring my laptop, backpack is the best option) and during the day when going out for lunch I carry the WOC. It has 6 card slots and fits my iPhone pro max, it can fit 2 phones but will stretch a bit. The WOC is really for minimal things, it's good for a night out or running errands quickly.
Yes, I have one and i know its a WOC but i would at least like to fit my sunnies in it and i cant
I love my woc. But I think you need to go into the purchase aware of its practical shortcomings. It doesn’t fit a lot. If you stuff it, the weight alone may cause bowing, particularly lambskin but really all leathers. 
You can but it will show more wear. Use your pockets!
I have a pale coloured two tone lambskin from 2016 which I purchased pre loved in pristine condition so it’s more of an occasion rather than casual look.
The mini definitely fits more. But I think the comparison between the two shouldn’t just be about fit but also look. The woc is a totally different look IMO, I love the thin jewellery like chain and how it sits on outfits, particularly with shorter skirts or dresses. I find it very dinky and pretty.
As to whether it’s worth it, I think it is because it’s an incredibly versatile look, but it’s very expensive new isn’t it. The other option would be to save a little extra and get a pre loved classic flap.

I sold a couple of mine. I don’t think it’s worth it. It doesn’t hold a lot and the chain is way too long. I am 5ft and it sits way too low on my thigh. I know people use chain shortener but it makes the flap bulky. And I definitely don’t want to wrap the chain around the flap, it’s very inconvenient to open and close the bag. If Chanel makes a pearl crush woc in caviar, i would purchase it in a heart beat. But the classic woc is a no no.
I'm the opposite. I definitely reach for my woc way more than the mini. I actually wish I had gotten a black woc instead of the black mini. I just carry my cardholder (though sometimes I use the WOC cards lots instead of cardholder when I need to carry more), pen, a perfume roller, a mask, small hand sanitizer nowadays, and car keys.
