Picked up the new slingback heels in a 38. This is my first pair of Chanel shoes, but I’m generally a 7.5-8 and go up to 8.5 in Nike. I take a 37.5-38 at Hermes. The 38 feel a bit tight, but my SA warned me that the strap stretches out. Unfortunately, they didn’t have a 38.5 to try on.

How much will these stretch out in the toe/strap? I would hate to return, but also don’t want to keep it I’ll never wear. View attachment 5938264View attachment 5938265

No advice on how they’ll stretch over time but I tried them on too and also found them to be small. I’m usually a 7-7.5 so initially tried the 37.5 and while I could have made them work, they felt a lot more comfortable in the size 38. I still felt good tension on the strap. I guess it depends how many hours you’ll be wearing them and in what sort of setting to decide if you can deal with them slightly tight.

How do they feel in terms of comfort?

Overall I would say like typical Chanel shoes with soft leather. Re heels, I don’t have the original lower heels to make a comparison. For me personally they felt comfortable but I’m used to high heels. Most of my shoes are more than 3 inch.
Re width, they felt narrow for my wide feet, but will probably stretch. SA said that they came out in wide width as well but they didn’t have it. So I will try to track them down in wide width. I was waiting for the higher heels like forever lol

Can you please suggest which one should I get, the mini rectangle top handle of the vanity ?
Love them both but can only get one at the moment.
I already own the vanity in the brown with yellow interior and a mini flap in black caviar silver hardware.
All suggestions would be much appreciated

Mini top handle for sure! It is a chic shape and a very usable size. I find it easier to get in and out of than the vanity cases, and the rectangular shape holds a decent amount even though it isn't that large.

I have a pair of similar Chanel slingback shoes and haven't experienced much, if any, stretching in the toe. The strap has not changed much after several wears, either. I personally find them less comfortable than Chanel's flats or some of my other block heels for longer wear.

mini top handle personally, the coco handle opening feels smaller and trapezoid shape makes it a bit harder to get things in and out of
