Hello, managed to pick up my first ever Chanel bag from the 24P collection. Could anyone give me advice on how to store my bag and also the strap when it’s not in use. I also bought the zippy purse but in caviar leather I know that type of leather is a bit more robust. Thank you 😊

Top handle mini. The coco handle's shape means that it fits less and is sort of awkward to get things in and out easily. It is more tapered towards the top and wider at the bottom, which makes it look pretty but doesn't help with practicality in my experience.
Congratulations on your bag! This is a great one to start with.
When you aren't using it, store the chain inside the bag. That will keep press marks from forming over time on the leather from the chain.
I’m going to go the other way and say coco handle. I like the trapezoid shape to give it some definition. And the strap is detachable. (Speaking as someone who doesn’t own one but would like to)
I love the cch so much that I could not stop after my first one. The shape makes it very unique. I agree that getting things in and out may be not very easy sometimes. However, I can manage to organize my stuff and get used to it. It is not a problem for me now. I also love that it is caviar with metal feet. I only have the size 9.5 though. Having said that, I may get a mini with top handle later
So I went to the store today to choose between the vanity and the mini top handle in black leather but I got seriously distracted by this gorgeous beauty 😍

Was also offered the Kelly in white but I was scared of color transfer and passed on it.

I love them both, but I reach for my small coco handle more often. I prefer the caviar and feet, which makes me less nervous about it being damaged. It also feels more substantial than a mini bag. I have the small and medium CCH. I would not recommend the smallest size, it was too small and stiff for me to be functional.
Absolutely love the mini with top handle as well. It is harder to find and retains its value better than the CCH. My only issue is I have had things fall out of the bag since there is a gap at the top. Not often, but it does happen.

My first chanel bag (gift to myself)! Always wanted a tweed to be my first for my collection. It was a hard choice between this and the black tweed top handle that is popular in this thread, but at the end of the day this adds a little something different for me.
