Chanel Spring/Summer 2023 Act1 (23P)

Went to my sa today. My store got a light blue jumbo in but they didn’t have a medium! The light blue is really pretty!

Finally was able to get a 23p bag. I ended up getting 2.55 in ecru! I can’t begin to try to capture the real color lol. It’s a great alternative to white and beige! I love aged gold hardware, also!

I’ve noticed my last three recent bag purchases came with this white extra cover with the dust bag. My SA says it’s for those that store their bags in their dust bags to prevent staining? In dont store my bag in their dust bags so I didn’t know that staining was an issue!

Isn't the ecru gorgeous?? Congrats!! I have heard that the black cotton dust bag CAN leave color transfer on light colored bags... how wonderful they are offering the original packaging to protect against that now!

Ecru really is! When I saw it I was like whoa! I’m not a huge beige person but I love ecru for sure!

Yes you insert the bag in the white to then put it in the dust bag. I love the extra step that they took. It lets me know that somebody is listening! The white covers came with both my 23c purchases also.

Congratulations to another bag twin! The ecru reissue is very special, imo.
Glad you shared about the white bag aside from the dust bag. I asked my SA if she could put a white felt under the flap, and she informed me all of the protective packaging (including felt, clear hardware covers, etc.) are tossed even before her store receives them. I guess each location does it differently, because some of my other Chanel bags bought elsewhere have the white cover you have pictured. Enjoy your new beauty!

Yay bag twin! So interesting how different each store is. Now that you mention it I have not received felt under the flap with this or my medium from cruise. The last felt I received now that I think about it was my medium boy purchase from 22b all purchased from the same store.

Can I ask you why you prefer the 23P Light Blue over the 22S Light Blue? Personally, I like the 22S Light Blue more (with a little bit lighter saturation) and the 23P Light Blue looks more periwinkle to me. Does the 23P Light Blue have any lavender/periwinkle undertone in person?

I like both very much but I agree with nashpoo 23P is a very pretty true baby blue and very saturated. There is a tiny bit of yellow in 22S so that’s why it’s making the 23P look a little purple/periwinkle but I don’t find it like that in person. The 22P if you prefer creamy and less saturated blue but the 23P is a bright baby blue if that makes sense

I recently purchased the dark beige mini top handle and it did not come with the white felt. Should I be concerned since I store all my bags in dust bags?

Hey everyone! Question regarding the 23p top Handle Minis. I came across this BEAUTIFUL mint green mini (23p) but the handle is super slanted and bent and the flap is kind of lopsided. Upon researching, I found a post on red for the same colour and style bag with a bent handle. Can anyone confirm if they’ve seen this colour mini? I would really like to locate one but if they are all slanted I wouldn’t go ahead. I purchased the 23p full pink mini handle and luckily it’s perfect and not slanted at all. Is this a QC issue for many 23p handles? Please see the photos attached.

Just to add, I spent a long time in store trying to adjust the handle, I couldn’t. It doesn’t just look squished, it looks like a manufacturing defect.

The light green top handle color is gorgeous! Someone did an unboxing for the light green one on Instagram and the handle looks fine to me, I think it’s just a luck of the draw.

23P light blue medium classic and comparison with 22S light blue. Neither are really photographing well but it gives an idea of the colour. The 23P reminds me of a lighter version of the 21C lambskin sky blue but there is no colour from a previous season that really compares to this blue.

I love them both so much and they are more different in person than I realised. If I really had to pick I would say 23P. IMO this is very collectible colour.
