I decided not to wait for my SA. I bought the small light blue classic from a different boutique because of the price increase tomorrow.

The small and medium flaps are going up $1,400, the jumbo and maxi are going up $1,500. I'm having a hard time grasping the idea of spending $10,200 for a medium CF!
Is it bad I still want the light green evenafter the price increase
I think a lot of people are feeling the same. It is over $10k in Canada and if there is another price increase, I will have a hard time justifying paying $12 - $13k for a medium CF.
Some people will not be affected by the increase because to them price does not matter. Unfortunately, I don't share the same opinion.

I can easily justify RTW prices, but not a CF. Last week I got a fantastic pink tweed jacket w/ gorgeous buttons for the same price as a flap (although, I got a medium flap too, but anywho). So much work goes into their jackets, and most of the RTW for that matter, so I can understand the price point. A CF is literally leather and a sewing machine LOL. Kidding! Sorta

Interesting. I guess that’s what distinguishes Chanel and Hermes bags, the mass production vs artisan work. I do also find Chanel RTW mostly incredible. I try to justify the CF price by using it as much as I possibly can, the latest price increase further driving me to use it 24/7 at this point
Kidding…It's funny how people value things differently. For example, I will never ever pay more than $50 for a white tank top! I'm a hot mess. But I'll put that JCrew tank under a CHANEL jacket .. assuming I didn't spill coffee on the tank LOLInteresting. Website is updated and it’s indeed $12-13k. Almost $2k increase for small flap. I am contemplating if I can still make it to any store to get any of the 23P ecru bags. *sigh*I think a lot of people are feeling the same. I held the mini business affinity in the ecru color but it just didn't seem to translate well on such a tiny bag. i think it would be better in the classic flap style. The Vancouver store never has any of the CFs available as they have already been presold to their VVIPs. The public never stands a chance in getting them compared to the US where there are so many stores/locations to source it from. Yes, deep sigh. At $12 - $13k + tax gives a total of roughly $13,750 - $14,336, this certainly makes it really eye-opening now.
Yeaaa 10k is a crazy jump! At least go to 9200 first and then 10k. Ugh take is slow with us Chanel!
