Same thing at my boutique! When I arrived, there were only Cruise items on display, and I thought I got the date wrong. Then they were changing the displays as customers were inside. I was only allowed to look at the bag I was interested in for a minute or two and then it had to go back into the display. Unfortunately for me, the color of that bag differed from the stock pictures and was therefore too similar to a WOC I already own. Another bag I was interested in was not ordered by the boutique and everything else I was interested in was already sold out, which was odd because the boutique had only been open for half an hour before I arrived and it was not even crowded. I wonder if SA's are not allowed to inform costumers about what the boutique has ordered anymore? I did not receive any reply from my regular SA, who is usually very helpful. Anyway, I went to Hermès afterwards and bought a few nice items thereI noticed it said “suggested” retail price for most bags yesterday while browsing and now they say price upon request.
My local boutique was a mess for launch day. They held opening time at 11am for 5-10 mins so they could put out some 23P items on display (very minimal; some costume accessories, scarves, and one corner of a wall). Only a few bags I had asked about were available to see. It seemed like everything was still in boxes in the back and they hadn’t unpacked yet. I was told something wasn’t in boutique yet, but a few hours later, they said they found one. They said that they might not even let clients take their purchases home for two days so they can set up and take photos of boutique first.
