So...I was notified today that the Chicago boutique received their caramel medium flaps today and are all fully allocated. I am so disappointed since I was pinning all my hopes at this store haha. But I am HOPING the people who got it are actual people buying it for themselves and not reselling.

*Cries* I was on this list too, I guess we are out of luck haha. Will keep searching though in case a miracle happens.

I keep seeing HK, Japan have so many and I'm wishing I was there now to pick one up

People need to report the accounts to Instagram. Select that they are posting content that should not be on Instagram and that is is a scam/fraud. That is the truth. They are defrauding Chanel buying bags to sell at a profit and scamming the people that purchase them.

Also to report them to Chanel and get their accounts banned, if u or someone you knows buys from them, report the bag serial number so they can ban the buyer that the reseller used. If there’s ever a bag I love, I might buy at markup but I’m gonna report them. Should I make a new thread where ppl can get together to do this? Would it be worthwhile? I know they use multiple ppl to shop for them so to even take one down could take time

Yes it’s a good idea. I don’t want to get the customers who buy from resellers in trouble though. I wonder if there’s a way to submit the serial numbers to an email address and that email owner can send the email to Chanel, NM, Saks, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, bergdorf customer service? I imagine some of these bags are from department stores so the brand may have to work with them to get those clients reported?

I have a friend who used to work at Chanel corporate. I may ask her what she thinks is best. She gets annoyed by resellers too.

Oh know I mean so they can ban the original buyer! I wouldn’t want to get banned from Chanel for buying from a reseller lol. I’d die! They would know who originally bought the bag for the reseller so that’s why I think it’d be safe to report

Haha yes I agree! I think the resellers probably document their serial codes and would be able to identify which bags they sold to which customers....and if they didn’t before, they certainly would after the thread is created. So if we allow people to post serial numbers on this forum, those sellers will know who snitched on them lol. Hence it might be easier for the serial codes to be sent anonymously to an email or something. Just a thought if we want to do this

I’m very new to Chanel and have very limited knowledge. This bag is labeled 21p but it seems like this navy color is from several seasons ago. I’m wondering if anyone can give me information on this bag. The color and the leather type. TIA

Hi, your bag seems lovely, do you have more pictures of it as I’m trying to decide if I should get the navy from 21C or this latest 21P? I’ve been researching a lot on the chanel 19 navy and seems like it is out almost every season but lately only in lambskin. The shade varies every season,
from more indigo shades to very dark inky blue. The goatskin version you are looking for would probably be from collections a year ago.

Does anyone know how product is allotted to stores? Some are saying they aren’t getting any shipments of certain colors, while others will only get two.

As I understand it, each store has a buyer who selects their buy for the upcoming seasons. Unfortunately most buyers got this season wrong. They apparently thought the caramel would not sell well.
