Not siding with anyone, but it would be less because she would need to pay for sales tax, shipping and insurance...but still, $5300 is way too much.

I just bought a rectangle mini recently from my boutique and it came out to $4340 with tax. I’m not going to pay and additional $900-1000 to the resellers. If I cant get it then I’ll just move on to the next bag.

How much is the classic mini flap after the price increase?

A personal shopper - or better yet a RESELLER is selling a caramel mini flap for 5,300USD! UGH! I hate these resellers so much! I wish Chanel will be more strict when it comes to quantities sold per item just like Hermes.

Yea the pearl crush mini bag ($3900 retail) I was looking for, came up on instagram reseller’s page. She sells it for $5600+. I really want the bag but just can’t justify that much premium...

“Scumbags” is a pretty apropos term for people who hoard htf bags to flip a profit and then lurk this forum trying to get information or pretend to help!

People need to report the accounts to Instagram. Select that they are posting content that should not be on Instagram and that is is a scam/fraud. That is the truth. They are defrauding Chanel buying bags to sell at a profit and scamming the people that purchase them.

So...I was notified today that the Chicago boutique received their caramel medium flaps today and are all fully allocated. I am so disappointed since I was pinning all my hopes at this store haha. But I am HOPING the people who got it are actual people buying it for themselves and not reselling.
