I wonder if maybe some of the SAs get kick backs from the resellers so they tend to give them a heads up on what’s coming out so they can be put first on the reserve list.

Feel like it hasn't become enough of a problem for Chanel corporately yet to make any enforcements on resellers on IG. They're still dealing with the lawsuit with TheRealReal and larger consignment/reseller companies. In the meantime though, they may be thinking if there's an appetite for marked up resell on IG, then we can continue to raise prices and people will still buy directly from boutique if they can. Unfortunately lose lose situation for consumers :(

She once posted that she can only source for those with a purchase record with Chanel and only within US. So my guess is that she is using your actual name to purchase the bag to get around the bag limit policy?

To me, that doesn’t make sense. If I were to go with a PS, then it shouldn’t matter whether I have a prior purchase history or not.

I noted both the lists you had posted for 21C and this 21P has the Chanel 19 in navy, which I’m trying to get but unsure about the differences in shade. I’ve seen the 21c navy in person, but haven’t seen or heard of anyone getting the 21p navy. Do you by chance have any info about the 21p navy? Looking through past threads, chanel 19 came out in various shades of navy ranging from Indigo shades to super dark inky blue. I just hope to know more about the 21P shade! Thanks!

love the pink...just curious...I know you have the 19S pink which is a bit lighter but how does this 21P pink compare to the 19C bubblegum pink color?

I realize that some personal shoppers coordinate the transaction but the purchase goes on the buyer's Chanel profile, and realize some may have people buy for them, but it still feels like Chanel could easily take action for multiple purchases of the same bag multiple times over and over again.
4. The marquee mentor website, which is designed to help people start a reseller business clearly states "wholesale agreements with luxury brands" as a benefit - learned about this site from foxylv and bargainhuntingblond on IG.

Personally I haven't purchased from a reseller and really enjoy the boutique experience. To be clear, I'm not advocating for resellers, and feel yucky all over when I see the mark-ups of these items, like the Rose Clair Classic Flap. I agree the last price increase hurt and anything on top of that increase feels outrageous. I'm just putting this information out there for dialog purposes - sorry if this belongs in a different thread, since there is so much conversation on resellers I thought it appropriate.

I do not think PSshas agreement with Chanel. To my knowledge, Chanel boutiques do not like PSs posting pics of internal presentations and things that is not officially released. PSs may be working with department store SAs though.... As far as I can tell, Chanel Boutique FAs have any problem having good sales just by helping their daily clients and walk-ins :)

The PS I have used connected me to the SA also. I honestly sometimes text the SA directly for items now. That’s probably why they usually don’t.
