Yes! Me too! It’s getting me so sad cause all the popular ones are all gone due to more and more PS getting them from all places. Chanel lovers like us need to pay extra crazy prices for a bag that already had a price increase. This is painful.

I’m guessing her buyers are the people ahead of us on the reserve list and know how many bags the boutique is getting...and are 100% sure they are high enough on that list to be guaranteed a bag. I really think there should be a way for us to anonymously report serial codes to the brand and have them ban the original buyer for like....six months for a first offense and forever for a second offense lol. I understand that not everyone has access to a boutique but the reseller market is just so greedy. I can’t imagine the benefits outweigh the cost.

Yes! It’s so outrageous! Those prices are unreasonable. I wonder if there are sellers that charge a flat fee? I would almost be okay with paying a flat $500 for every handbag sourced....if I were desperate for the bag and there was no other way to get it. But charging us $1000+ more for a bag....that’s just ridiculous lol

I really hope Chanel will put a limit to PS. It’s so unfair to the people who genuinely want the bags.

If nobody buys they’ll be forced to lower the price. When Nintendo switches were low in stock people inflated the prices and only a few people were ridiculous enough to purchase at that rate. Eventually more stock came in and the people who were stockpiling them had to sell at normal prices. Since these bags are now $6800 I doubt many people are going to pay the inflated prices. Not enough to encourage these personal shoppers to continue. I can see them selling for $500 more but not higher. I just don’t see them getting many bites after the high price increase.

My Sister wanted a Medium Classic flap in rose Claire as her Baby shower gift, so i have been trying to get in touch with stores and no luck. so i contacted an PS based in Paris and she quoted 9000$ + shipping . This is ridiculous!! PS are the reason why normal customers cannot get their hands on anything they want.

PS + resellers are the ones who create hype and make everything as unicorn. once the next season releases the so called unicorns become forgotten and people struggle to sell them and end up with a loss.

It is very frustrating to see PS and resellers selling at premium price when they are the main reason why people can’t get hold of bags anyway. They are the ones who hoard the bags!! My SA put me on waiting list for the brown rect mini but she said “elite” clients get first dibs. And by “elite” meaning customers who buy bags every season. Wild guess who those people are?? PS and resellers!!! They end up having a good buying profile coz they buy every season so they always get hard to get items and then sell for outrageous profits.

Only one NM location got a shipment of m/l caramel flap today per my SA, and it was a store that does a lottery system for new stock. A certain PS account (who also used to be just a ”part time handbag collector, Full time mama ” on her regular Instagram account) immediately posted that she had “managed to get one more.” If we can put our heads together and figure out which store that is, we can report her and maybe get her kicked off of future waitlists.
