Chanel Small Deauville Tote

I saw these sizes at a store in DC last month and I couldn’t pull the trigger at the time. But I can’t stop thinking about it. I am debating if I should off load a few bags to buy a black small. Thinking about selling a ysl sdj and Chanel 19 small black.

Same here.. i have been wanting a deauville with top handle for years.. i got the older deauville , medium but sold it eventually as i prefer dual handles tote.

Once the new small/medium deauville came out, i cant get it out of my mind and had to get it. Although i hate the price for a fabric bag. And a pouch i would never use lol. Too heavy. I just wanna have as little things as possible in my bag

I purchased the small deauville in navy in the spring of 2022. I use the bag daily from spring to fall and I have had no issues with staining or marks. It’s light weight and timeless! I would like the black and gold in the future!

I was playing with this bag last weekend and there’s a $4200 “new small”, $4700 small/medium and $4900 large.

The $4200 size was perfect and had 23A tags on. Not sure if this is an updated price. Seems to be a big jump to $4700.

Would love them to do a small dual handled denim with maybe a darker lettering like navy or black. White is too striking for me

Does anyone know how to stop the top of the bag around the handles from sagging so much tho?? 🥲

Yes, that's what happened to mine too.

Happened to me too! Mine are REALLY flopping in, sometimes even almost folded into the bag 😭

I took it into the boutique and was told that it can happen to bags after a few years so now I try to thread the chains through the handles and hang the bag on a clothing hanger when not using it.

So much for the quality=prince increase of Chanel.....

Not sure it's possible due to gravity 🤔 the handles are heavier so it's totally normal, imo.

You could hang the bag or use clips to hold the handles "up", together? You could also use something to stuff the middle part of the Deauville, so the are forced to stay in place ☺️

(I have a large Deauville from 2017, also have an insert, and mine does the same).

I loooove my new small Deauville! It’s the perfect size for me to use as a daily purse (rather than a tote/beach/work/travel bag.) I’m a little concerned about keeping it clean, but I really wanted this color. Overall super happy with my purchase.
