Is anyone from the bay familiar with Linda from NM Palo Alto Chanel?
She's my favorite SA and had always been responsive but stopped responding to my texts around March and I haven't seen or heard from her since. It just seems odd and out of character to stop responding, so I've just been wondering she's alright. If anyone knows I'd be very grateful!
I texted with Linda at the end of September and she was very responsive. Maybe try again or maybe she changed her number.

Hi, yes, I know and have used Linda also. Although I haven't purchased anything in quite awhile, I did stop by to see her and say hi last week. She is well so I don't think it's anything like that. I know quite awhile ago she mentioned that they were transitioning from owned by NM to being owned by Chanel and she had to reinterview for the position. Possibly it changed the way she is able to communicate as she used to send out what was coming in the next collections and I haven't had any from her in probably a year at least.

So glad to know she’s still there and well! The past couple times I visited, I hadn’t seen her and on top of not hearing back from texts, I was becoming concerned. Feeling very relieved now, thank you!

Update on the Chanel inside of Nordstrom at the Valley Fair Mall in San Jose:

I went there today, and unfortunately the last estimate of late November has been now bumped up until March 2022. It is coming, but taking its sweet time
@Sylly Thanks for the update. Looking forward to their opening! By the way, did you happen to go to the Chanel in San Francisco as well? Hope they are ok as the Louis Vuitton around the corner got robbed yesterday night! https://abc30.com/louis-vuitton-looted-union-square-robbery-san-francisco/11257157/

i was there last night when the LV store was being robbed. I was leaving Neimans chanel. Chanel free standing store was not hit. It was scary and chaotic.
Wow, how scary! And I am just now seeing that the Walnut Creek Nordstrom was hit last night (Saturday night) in the same way. Witnesses are saying more than 50 people were involved.

Omg I would have freaked out... glad you are safe and were able to leave the site quickly (hopefully)... I am actually planning to see an SA in the stand alone boutique in 2 weeks. Hope the chaos will be resolved before then...

San Francisco is definitely not what it used to be [pre covid]. Its literally the wild wild west. I stopped carrying branded sopping bags, opting instead to either have items shipped or for item to be packed with flat boxes inside unmarked solid colored shopping bags, for security. This same gang of people attempted to rob Fendi and Bottega, but the glass did not shatter.

oh my! I saw this in the new last night. upto 80 people?!?! 10 mins before closing. What is worth stealing? a handbag? one left shoe? I mean its getting ridiculous and scary.

I went to Nordstrom at Valley Fair Mall today and asked them about the opening schedule. They told me it’s now May 2022 but who knows exactly when… I took 2 pics of where the boutique is supposed to be.

Has anyone shopped with SA "Noah" at the standalone on Geary? I bought from him once remotely and had a positive experience. But, I have been texting him for months now, with either a generic out of office text reply, or no reply at all. I'm starting to wonder if he's even with that location/the company anymore. I am a little annoyed that if another SA owns his phone, that I couldn't get a simple text back stating he's no longer there, IF that's the case. I've also tried calling the store direct but got the off-site CA, who promised she'd send a message to the store and I'd get a response in 1-2 days, and now it's past that.
Hoping someone here knows anything about Noah and if he's gone.
