It’s a dark grey. The same dark grey as the current season I think. Black with a white cap sounds beautiful too!!! I might be tempted to get those if they come back

I've had drama with perfect bows (my pet peeve), so I look at the bows first.
On the gray, there seems to be two grays for 23B, and my Trendy CC is the lighter gray shade, NQ335, which I can't seem to find a shoe in that light gray color. Bummer.
In case you are interested in a gray ballet, there is a gray ballerina, but it is medium gray, code NR092. It's the classic combo, gray with black cap toe. I am going to wait until I get my bag to see if I can live with this slightly darker gray as a match.

ETA: Since you also love ballets and also for anyone else, I thought I would share and add a photo & code (this is from the LookBook).
The toe cap on this one is actually a dark grey not black which does look really pretty. I bought the slingback version in the same combination.
So basically if they come in the ballerinas, there’s also a chance they come in slingbacks too? Also, out of curiosity how many slingbacks do you own? Lol
Yes that’s true - many of the ballerinas also exist in slingbacks too. Hahaha well I buy pretty much every version that comes out in flat version from each collection as I wear them almost every day and I love to match bag and shoes. This season I bought all the leather ones (white/black, dark beige/black, grey/dark grey and the blue/navy) and I’m waiting for the denim (will be coming in light blue, dark blue and black)
Classic turnlock loafers and 23B black/white loafers.
My sizing is all over the place with Chanel! Sized up on the turnlock loafers, down on the regular moccasins, down on the white slingbacks, and true to size on the black slingbacks.
Hi! Chanel shoe sizing this season is annoying me too!
I have been a size 38 for years, and always a size 38.
However, the last shoes I purchased from this season ran big.
I bought the same loafers you did, but in white/ivory color, and I had to size down.
I just got the white ballerinas, and the 38 is too big! I have tons of ballerinas, so I am surprised it's too big.
My SA is going to send me the 37.5, and quite frankly, I am a bit bummed. It will be my only 37.5 ballerina.
Chanel must be doing something different. Super annoying as I do not live near a Chanel, so I have to have everything shipped.
I also plan to get the gray ballerinas if they match my Trendy CC (has not yet arrived), so now I'm thinking I will need to try both sizes.
Makes it tricky to order remotely, so I will be trying on shoes in store moving forward.
How did the black and white loafers fit in relation to the turn lock? Trying to decide what size and I have the turn lock ones.
Hi! There are a lot of moccasins, so I'm not sure which one. However, the Chanel website has prices for that country, so maybe go to the Chanel UK website to see if you can find your shoe and the price in GBP.
As FYI, I was in London several months ago, and I found the price to be very similar, especially since there is no longer VAT refund for visitors, and if you add state tax in the US.
To use an example from the current season, 23B, which includes the recent price increase...
I just ordered a Trendy CC. In the US, the size small is $6,900 USD, not including tax. If you assume tax of 7%, the total is now $7,383. Taxes vary by state, so it depends on what state you are visiting.
I just took a peak at the Chanel UK website to see if they had the Trendy CC online, and they do. The same size small bag in the UK is 5,800 GBP, which converts to $7,357.47 USD.
It's nearly the same.
If it were me, I would buy the shoe whenever I see. Availability is more important to me than saving a few dollars, so I always buy the item when I see it. Popular items sell out very fast, and sometimes, they do not even make it to the display case or inventory. The item goes first to the clients who have pre-ordered.

I would definitely get it locally in the US if you see it. By the way, if you are in NYC, I find the Chanel boutique on 57th never has a great selection of shoes (I was just in NYC last week). If you don't see your shoe there, go to Bergdorf Goodman and Saks. They have tons of Chanel shoes, bags too.
