oh okay! That makes sense, thanks for clearing that up. I don't have a Chanel near me, could I still call a random one and ask for them? newbie here :P
Maybe! I know some boutiques will not send bags unless you have physically shopped there (e.g. your name is in their system).
That said, this is just a shoe, so maybe they will ship. Plus, the economy is not the greatest, and I am sure Chanel wants to sell stuff, so I would give it a shot. I would try calling a less popular boutique as I think you'll have better odds. For example, don't call NYC. They have so much local business and tourists my guess is the SA will not want to deal with it.

If the boutique will not send it to you...

Plan B...
Call BG. I was at BG two weeks ago, and I saw a dark beige flat "something". The "something" was either the ballet or slingback, but I honestly cannot remember now exactly what that dark beige was! I just remember thinking to myself, oh, that's the dark beige. Give them a call. BG will for sure send. If BG does not have the slingback...

Plan C...
Try Bloomies on Madison. They carry a lot of Chanel, and their stock is not like the other Bloomies. They carry more.

If BG or Bloomies do not have the slingback and you have already tried Saks and NM, then my guess is it's a boutique only offering.

Plan D...
Weekend roadtrip! This will be a good reason to do a weekend trip, visit a Chanel boutique, and get your name in their system.
If you do this and realize you don't like slingbacks and don't want to buy them, no biggie.
To get your name in their system, all you need to do is buy something. It can be anything, it does not have to be expensive, so I vote to get some makeup. Of course, get the SA's name and info for your future purchases.

Good luck!

ETA: Plan E!... If you cannot get these slingbacks from the boutiquen and you might consider the ballets, Saks has the dark beige ballets for sure.

Thank you for all your replies!

I’ve asked local reputable luxury shoe&bag spa company about dying the label in dark grey, so that the CHANEL lettering would still be visible, but not so loud. The color could be similar to the sole of the shoe. I’ll see what they will say.
I have the same label on my Air Force one dupes, and took a closer look so I know what you mean by the stitches going all the way down the tongue- if you don’t mind losing the tag, you can cut carefully close to the stitches and then just pull out the threads if dyeing it doesn’t pan out

Thank you so much for taking the time to draw out this game plan, I'll try all of these out. I must admit that it made me laugh, only in TPF would I receive this type of detailed help (love this community!). :giggle:

August’s ballerinas: I got the white/black toe & black/grey toe. I’m still hoping to get my hands on a pair of blue leather ballerinas.

Last year most of the ballerinas I bought had fabric or patent toes so I’m focused on getting leather toes this year.

I’ve been looking for the white/black ones - could you please share where you got them? I’ve heard they’re only available in big department stores like Saks or Bloomingdales and not in the Chanel stores.

I have them. But with croc embossed leather. purchased them about 2 or more months ago.
I was able to find them in the quilted and croc, but no one ordered the flats in this color. Getting them through a personal shopper wasn't much versus getting them in the boutique. But I think I'll get them in a different color that's available since I have no idea how these run.:noworry:

Do you mean size wise? For these I took my usual slingback size 40.5 (which never changes unless the size is unavailable and I take a 40 or go up to 41 and there isn't much difference wearing 0.5 size up or down). For reference I have a narrow foot and I take 41 in trainers/ballerinas and 40 in most mules/sandals. I hope that helps! I would get these from a PS if you can't find them as they are too good to miss out on - the colour is unbelievable and I'm thinking of getting the ballerinas now!

Thank you for clearing that up! I'm a 7.5 in most shoes, so I would get a 37.5 in these slingbacks then. Ahhh! you gave me reassurance since my foot is also narrow
