I was tempted to get both but given the choice I always reach for slingbacks so I thought it’s just better to get what I will use. I also got the grey ones and the white ones from this season! I have white from last year but I prefer the smooth leather and it’s slightly pearly to my eye. I love how the toe cap on the grey is a tonal darker grey

I would say it’s normal! You’re basically walking on who knows what scraping the leather away.Is it normal for the color on the sole of the shoe to start peeling after only two wears? I wore this shoe twice. Once to the mall and once to a movie theatre but the pink started peeling off

I love the fabric toe cap too but I think these are all full leather versions especially as it’s pre fall collection. I usually see the fabric toe caps in spring summer collections
Yes dear, that’s totally normal. It’s a leather sole that’s been coloured - as soon as you touch gravel it will grate down the upper leather sole and snow the natural leather colour (brown) underneath the pink layer.Is it normal for the color on the sole of the shoe to start peeling after only two wears? White does not come around every year, which I am not sure why, as it's such a classic summery shade.
I love love love the white ballets, and I always buy a backup pair.
I recently got rid of my old white ballets that were looking worn, and I started to wear my white backup pair.
Hence, I needed another white backup pair. I texted my NM SA asking him to send me a white ballet as a backup pair. He said NM does not have the white. Bummer. I thought I would have to wait until next spring.
As luck would have it, the Chanel boutique SA text me, and they got white as part of the new collection! Yippee!
I got mine from the boutique, but I would think other dept stores carry it too (not NM though, as of a few weeks ago).
Just wanted to share in case anyone is looking for white ballets!
Did you get any feedback? I saw them at NM yesterday and they have the softest leather ever. I'm obsessed and can't stop thinking about them!!

I found the white lambskin with black toe and black lambskin with grey toe at CDG terminal 2E-K snagged both in a 38.5C!!! I couldn’t find these anywhere in paris!!!!
Wonderful! The black with gray toe sounds nice. Is it a dark gray or light gray. If you wouldn’t mind posting a photo, that would be great.
