Thank you so much for your answer, I was just wondering if it is a comfortable shoe and if someone out there tried it can give me this information, I would also like to use it to work ..... Merry Christmas to all.
Hi! I tried on this shoe and would be happy to share my thoughts.
First, this shoe is super popular; it came out a few seasons ago and sold out fast. It also helped that several celebrities were profiled wearing it, so a few seasons ago, it was an It shoe.

Of course, I wanted to jump on the bandwagon, so I bought this shoe along with another loafer that had a more feminine look. This chunky loafer is very comfy and fits great. However, I did not keep it. Here is why:

While this shoe is super popular and fashionable, on me, I felt it looked really chunky and manly. Yes, I realize that is the whole point of the shoe, but my look is more about chic elegance. It's a beautiful shoe, but even my husband said "the shoe is great, but it doesn't seem to be you." I think if you want the big chunky thick and wide sole look, this shoe is perfect and you will love it.

For me, I could not see myself wearing this loafer with many of my outfits. Loafers will always be in, but when you get this shoe and try it on, really take a look at the thickness of the sole and see if you like it and what outfits it will go with in your wardrobe.

Also, for summer, I prefer the Chanel espadrilles, ballets, sandals, and lighter looking footwear. I think this loafer looks best for fall / winter outfits. It definitely does not go with my striped tee and skinny Bermuda shorts summer look (I wear espadrilles/ballets).

Could you wear it to work? Sure you can, but it will project a certain look. For work, my mantra is dress for success, and dress like you're ready for the next promotion. My outfits reflect that attitude, so think if this shoe aligns with the look you want to project at work.

I did keep the other loafer which is a more classic and feminine look, and that is more me. The loafer I kept has a huge CC logo, which at first, I did not like as it was so in your face (e.g. on the edge of tacky for me). Ironically, I get a lot of compliments on that shoe for the logo, so go figure. I now really love that loafer and wish I had gotten the red color too. Maybe it will come back as it's such a classic style.

Here is a sideview of the shoe to show you what I mean about the thick and wide sole.
I love this shoe, the top part, and it's beautiful. The sole is just not me nor does it work with my outfits.
Hope this helps with your decision. Good luck.

I’m gonna browse through this thread and gaze at the pictures. I wish I could join the club, but I’m pretty sure my shoe size EU 43 / US 10 don’t run in any chanel shoe line except for the men? I hope to get my hands on the two toned classic chanel flats. I recall seeing a picture of Aubrey Hepburn in chanel flats and we all know how big hers were. Big feet users please reply and give me your thoughts?
EU 43 wouldn't be a US 10 in women's. EU 40 or 41 is a US women's size 10. Perhaps you should call Chanel customer service and ask if they make EU size 43 shoes for women?

I am really happy and I am grateful to you for your great description and experience with these Chanel loafers, among all the ones I have looked at, these seem to me the ones that have less thickness in the sole, for example I would not buy the prada ones, but I will go to the boutique to try them Before deciding.
rightly not a shoe that can work for everyone, but I love the way they look so damn ..... I work in jewelry so these would be perfect for me.
Thanks again for your feedback my dear.

If you work in jewelry, these would be pure awesomeness on you! Super chic! (Sadly, I work in a corporate environment, so not awesomeness for me  )

To me, ompared to the Prada, for sure I'd get these Chanels. The Chanels look ten times better in my opinion.
Super comfy! Oh, I forgot to mention, they are nice and wide too, not narrow at all which some loafers can be. You can stand all day in them. I think you will love them!

Your kindness is truly infinite, and I still thank you so much for the additional information you are providing.
Also I agree with you, that in a jewelry context, moccasins look great ❤️ .

Thank you. I love chanel shoes. Very comfortable and not too trendy (except for my latest purchase but those just looked too fun to pass up)
Me too! I'm a huge Chanel fan like you and that's all I buy. I like ballets, thong sandals, and espadrilles for summer.
However, seeing all your slides is making think I should go for some slides too!
By the way, your black slides with the wood heels on the far left, I had those in white! I gave them to a friend who loved them. They were so comfy and fun to wear! I used to call them my Chanel Dr. Scholl sandals.

Haha me too! Chanel dr scholl. I haven’t worn them in years but still love to look at them. Only old pair I can’t seem to part with.

I get all of my Chanel shoes re-soled by a cobbler to protect them. I find that it makes them last for a very, very long time. My local shoe guy puts on a thin layer of rubber that is not noticeable to anyone else (who stares at the bottom of your shoes unless they are Louboutins?) but really protects them. If you live in a city and walk a lot like I do, I can recommend it to keep your beautiful investment shoes nice for longer!

Love the boots, by the way.

Hi all,
Recently bought these ankle boots, however I am a bit scared of wearing them outside due to the delicate sole (it’s completely smooth). Anybody here who get’s their chanel boots resoled? Or have any tips on how to take care of the original sole? View attachment 5261481

You might be in luck...Chanel makes most of their shoes up to a 42! I am a US 11 and can wear either a 41.5 or a 42 depending on the style.

The trick is that they usually make a bit less of the larger sizes, so I have a couple of SAs that help me fulfill my shoe addiction in a less-common size. You might want to call the general 800 number (that has worked for me before) or ask a SA to watch for ballerinas that come in for you to try on.
