When I was younger I stupidly would buy something knowing that it would be a problem. I told myself that I could overcome whatever it was. Big mistake. It never goes away and it never gets better.
"Nothing itchy" is near the top of my rules, which I literally have written down in my clothing spreadsheet because I got tired of making the same expensive mistakes over and over. Along with "nothing too short," "nothing that gaps open," "no button-down shirts," "nothing too tight," "nothing that requires high heels" and "nothing camel" (I love it but it doesn't love me back - skin tone issues). Fortunately "nothing expensive" is not a rule . . .

Brilliant !
Need to have a list like this -

Maybe it's just defective fabric and they'll fix it. Haha. A girl can dream. :) I was gambling on it going to sale.

Here's the pics of me w it both ways. I have my cuba tank under but thought it would be cute w a simple white tank or the ritz one [emoji52] View attachment 3786028View attachment 3786029

If they don't bring back the v-neck backwards sweater, is this a recurring item? I've seen similar styles when looking at runway photos of older seasons, so maybe there will be a similar style coming out again soon?

I hope so :) seems there was a similar striped sweater from the velcro collection maybe :). And hopefully it won't be itchy [emoji5]

Wouldn't you love a version in the yummy knit of your cosmopolite skirt that has the matching sweater and dress? Maybe just a little thicker to hang like a tunic like this style. I would love to wear it with a long and slim knit skirt or longer pencil skirt.

I have to wonder why itchiness alone would be grounds for a recall. I know RTW is not haute couture, but you'd think Chanel would be well aware of the feel of the fabrics used in the collections and their potential to itch.
Sometimes the cluelessness of companies boggles the mind. Look at all the American Airlines uniforms that were made of fabric suspected of causing illness. The manufacturer of these uniforms should have been ashamed and the people who approved them as well. Sometimes a designer likes a particular fabric, but there is no practical testing in the real world. Metallic threads are ALWAYS a problem. I recall sweater from the mega shoulder pad era that I loved, but those silver threads would start poking me. *see my post about making stupid purchases when younger*

Good point! I had hoped/assumed that Chanel would be more careful, exacting, and thoughtful, but it is a huge corporation after all. I almost prefer to think it's the trademark thing haha!

Yes, if the trade mark, then we could have fun following their foolishness and you could give us more fashion legal opinions!
