Got my robot skirt back from alterations, fits nicely! The lace dress also came out beautifully (no pic).

I also tried the black dress but this is the v-neck version. Still very tempted... first pic is without shortening the length, second is with it tucked/shortened. I think the v-neck looks better on me but also looks more formal. I also promised myself to be good so it did not walk out with me... [emoji13]

And this is what I walked in wearing, my 16C skirt with j crew blouse and Hugo boss cardigan

Thank you for your kindness to offer to help, I really appreciate dear pigleto! I finally found the RTW piece at bergoff. I don't know what's up the NY 57th Botique, maybe it's due to renovations they can never find anything [emoji36].

Thanks! What do you think about round neck v v-neck?

Congrats on the robot skirt, I was rather interested by the black light dress but it's a little long on me too and I'm not enthusiastic about alterations. Plus my SA thinks it needs a belt meaning another investment on that. I prefer the round neck as I mostly do. It looks feminine and in balance with my curves.

I love all these pieces you posted. That teal is beautiful on you, and I personally prefer V necks - interesting that you think they look more formal than round.

I like v necks better for sure !!!! Agree w genie.

Thank you everyone! I am still debating the dress. I like how light and soft the fabric is, but on looking at the pictures I'm just not sure it's worth the cost/investment. I think I may take the gamble of waiting to see if it hits sales...

Also I'm really not loving the logo trend. I think all the design houses get together and decide what trends to put out, and this logo heavy trend is everywhere, and I just don't get it. Then again, I prefer more subtle, under-the-radar pieces, so it's probably my personal preference.

I think I made my opinion pretty clear about the logo trend. It is tacky advertising for a brand that doesn't need it.

The black dress looks very nice on you and they did a lovely job on the skirt. I think you could probably wait on the dress unless you need it for an event.

Two fun act one pieces :)IMG_1501797219.519400.jpg

Ruffles :) its navy and black coat. Very long. Liked but itchy for me. Also, 5600. Haha. Too much :) it runs small so this was a 42.

The peacoat was long and heavy. It's a dark navy. But nice :). Shoulders are generous and this was a 40.

Might have gotten the pics mixed up ... so tiny on this iPhone screen.

I tried to get another tank top and my SA transferred two in. Both had the defect in the fabric and it cannot be ironed or steamed out. So no tank for me. I tried. Sigh :)

But I did see this lovely cashmere sweater I tried before. It goes w so many things I own. I must think about it :)IMG_1501797609.414765.jpg

All of those pieces look great on you. It was the long coat that was itchy? I have had my eye on that peacoat - very pretty!

The tank sounds like a fail . . .

The cashmere camel sweater would go with so much. Love Chanel cashmere.
With regards to the logo clothing, I wasn't eager to purchase any until I bought the black logo t. Yes, it's pricey but oh my...it's so comfy and feels wonderful on. I can also wear a blouse underneath so I like that. I'm not a huge logo person and wouldn't want some pieces logo laden, however, there are a few of the items that I feel the logo is special to that particular piece.
