I was told his first show will be Spring summer in October in Paris. The Metier d’art show is normally in December but that will be cool if it’s in New York!

Do you think this is a great classic black jacket? Could you please share how it sizes and how heavy it is?

I’m thinking of the light blue jacket but wondering if this is a color that will be hard to match and does not play well with others. I would like a jacket that I could wear to work and mesh well with my current workwear, which leans more black.
it’s definitely not heavy, but it’s not super lightweight. It’s heavier than the pink cardigan but not by a lot. The app says it’s dark grey, but to me look like medium/silvery grey woven with yellow and brown thread. I think the buttons are light gold(?)
I agree! RTW is probably too cute for me. There are some nice accessories I think!

IMO, trust your initial reaction above and pass. I personally agree with you. I also think the trim looks like it will not age well (To me, it seems to have a yellowish tinge). ETA: if I really loved it, I think it could work, in theory, with navy, black, charcoal gray, and perhaps bittersweet brown, white, taupe, and denim. But I might only wear light blue in the springtime in my climate, and on sunny days. So, not good cost per wear unless I loved it.
I bought this and I really love it but I don’t wear much black and I love colour. The cut is perfect if you like more of a cropped cut. I felt it runs bit and I sized down. There are shoulder pads which I wasn’t a fan off but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me and I may remove them

I like the full look but it’s way too formal for my lifestyle so I will not purchase the matching skirt. I plan to wear this jacket super casual with jeans… either light denim or white and either high waisted straight cut or baggy low waist denim. It’s a cropped modern cut so I think it’s easy to wear casually paired with ballerinas or flat slingbacks. The colour is really incredible and I love the buttons and trim. I was really debating if I really need it but I can’t think of another Chanel jacket that came in a similar blue - it’s so unique. As soon as I got it home I knew it was the right decision to purchase it. My FA also told me is the most requested jacket from the collection.
