Can’t wait to see the prices from the show…and absolutely agree strongest collection in a long time and I’m not even usually a fan of MDA!
I love both of these. I bought the 24C one so I decided to pass on the 25C one as it’s too similar. I agree with the sizing on the 24C one, I took 34 and it’s still huge.
I agree with you that the fabric of this jacket is beautiful. But the shape? I don't see how possibly one can make it work? It's like wearing an upside down wine bucket!
Rtw for Chanel 57 sale was a decent selection, and appts were prior to store opening. My mom and I got the last fitting room which is the size of a closet.

Picks of our dressing room rack. All selected by SA (there was some overflow on the chair too)
I ended up getting the three pairs of pants in the middle of the rack. One of them is the red, black, snd white micro sequined pant (that goes with a long line vest that I already own); two boucle pants both bell bottomed (but bc I’m 5’2”, shortening will remove most of the bell shape )
My mom got two cropped cashmere cardigans (red and purple with two stripes on the forearms); three cashmere dresses (one that looks like the red cardigan; a retro print, pink and brown, sleeveless dress; and one other.
She also got a one black and white dress that looks like courreges; the leopard print cashmere pullover; black jeans appliquéd with leather camellias; and three pairs of shoes.
Apologies, I didn’t have time or the space to take reference # or prices
action pics, and everything is in alterations (sale alter estimate is 12 weeks)
But, I tried to include the pics of the different textiles in the pics below which show some of our purchases
This size 40 dress on me is too big; my SA found my size 36;* and then my mom decided she wanted it (we’re the same size) so she got it lol
*sale was hectic enough that we passed rejects out and they were immediately run back upstairs. Also, my SA asked DH to watch our pile to safeguard it from being poached. By the time we were done, it was really crazy busy . I don’t know if there were any sale jackets or coats.

I’m a mix of 36-38,* chanel; 38-40 Dior. 34-36 Hermes generally. My SA took one look at this and took it away and brought me a 36. The 36 was a perfect fit, but I didn’t have time to take a pic bc my mom decided she wanted it. Slightly stretchy, comfortable, not itchy. Pulled over my head to get it on. If you are busty (I’m not) I think size up, but then you will have to take it in bc it’s boxy. HTH
*chanel denim; outerwear; and jackets are approx 36, but I have a thick waist for my size, so sometimes that is an issue

Exactly I feel like the studio was instructed to think like VV or they adopted her mindset or something because whatever happened here doesn't feel far off from her sensibilities, neither did 25S by that much.
Very interested in seeing how this gets styled off-runway though.
I have that red and purple dress. It's one of my favorites. So easy to wear.
