You look stunning and I love your hair! Enjoy the concert!
@Ailes, I’m also 5’2”, but chunkier than you are, and I also found the longer jackets overwhelming on my height. ( in my imagination I’m at least six inches taller lol)

@BigOnBags, your question re the black and white was not directed for me but for @Ailes, but I wanted to share my observation in case it helps anyone. I’m a size 40 and chunkier than she is, and the white trim made me look broader and heavier. My SA actually made a sad face and said if the trim wasn’t so prominent, it could be more flattering, but it was a no go for me.
Thank you @880 I’m 5’4” and curvy so this is a very helpful observation.

Went to the boutique yesterday to look at the 22c bags. Not a ton of RTW in yet, and none of my reserves, little bits here and there. Apologies, my phone's photo storage was full so I didn't get as many photos as I would of liked. The lesage in blk & white fringe jacket is super stunning, congrats to all who are getting it! I'm waiting for my reserves to arrive - but am also waiting on a different size of this poncho. It's a turtleneck style and something that would certainly get wear in the midwest! Little nervous that the fringe is showing wear while on display in the boutique.

Also I heard that US private sale will start the last week in Nov (29th) and open to the public at the end of that week. Definitely will be interesting to see what's available! My expectations are low!

Stopped by my store to pick a bag on reserve from cruise but really surprised at the lack of RTW they had on the floor. Swung by BG and it's the same-only 4 items out from cruise. Really couldn't tell if they were all reserved and presold or just haven't arrived yet.

Wondering if you ladies/gents are experiencing the same at your local stores?
From what I understand, the only way to guarantee you’ll be able to try on rtw is to put your credit card on file. Once your piece is here, your card will be charged and either shipped or held for you in the back. My SA said that some sizes and styles don’t even hit the floor because they’ve already been shipped as soon as they receive them. So in other words, everything has been presold. It’s terrible the way they’re doing things now. It takes the fun out of impulse buying because there’s nothing to buy!
I also went to my local boutique today and there wasn’t much left in my size for me to try on.

Thanks for sharing the pics. The pink jacket looked fabulous. I hope the skirt works out - it would be a fantastic set.

I believe you had the cropped black and white knit cardigan in your room. Did you try it on? I have only seen one pic of it on and would like to know your impressions. My SA said it was ordered, but they have not received it yet.

Sorry forgot to put the cardi pics! Didn’t like it on me. I tried a 38 though but I think it would still look daggy if it was smaller. It’s also not a soft material and I prefer soft knits for cardigans.

@880 I couldn’t put my finger on made it unflattering but that makes sense re: the wide white trim!

The last jacket looks great on you. I'm 5'4" and the 34 was a bit too short on me while the shoulders need to be taken in. The proportion looks just right on you.

Is the black jacket lesage? I had thought it was a regular "fantasy tweed"?

Thank you! Sorry wasn’t clear - was referring to that last jacket as the lesage tweed. I do love how intricate it is but not something I would wear a lot.
Yep believe the black is fantasy tweed. It has a nice, subtle glitter to it.

Thank you! It isn’t easy to post when we feel something isn’t flattering so thank you for sharing. I appreciate your insight on the firm structure; sounds almost more jacket-like than a cardigan. And I imagine it was quite thick under the arms.
Not seeing a lot of pics of this piece, and the one I did, she was tall and slim, so maybe its a ‘miss’ for many.

Yeah I’ve spent over $100k in the last 2 months in Chanel RTW and still been told I can’t get a simple bag in the new collection (which every store has an allocation for) because the waitlist is too long and have been mostly allocated. It’s happened time and time again so bye bye Chanel. At least for Hermes the allocation of bags is more a head office decision based on spend most the time, I don’t understand the logic when Chanel is based on your SA. So if your SA is relatively new and young like most Chanel SA since I’ve had a new SA each year pretty much due to SA quitting then your chances of getting a semi popular bag is completely diminished. I also find the SA in Chanel are all for themselves fighting for commission and sometimes even pushing you to buy sizes that is not always right and tell you to get it altered even though your size is available at another store. This all just seems too hard, I feel like I need to work harder to spend money at Chanel than to earn the money. And the quality…. I don’t even want to go there, fresh from boutique and things are already falling apart or missing logos and SA assured me it was fresh with no try on! I don’t need the headache. I’m just going to only browse at their VIP sales from now, that’s probably the only perk in my journey with Chanel. No point browsing and finding what you want and realising it’s reserved for 30 other people more VIP than you or get a different size and have it altered. I know the bag was even offered to my friends who didn’t even want it and even knocked it back or asked me to take it, so it isn’t all that rare or super hard to get but it’s just their game.

I don't have a problem with it if they host previews/trunkshows for people to try and see in person prior to the arrival. As we all know, clothing on the runway looks very different from clothing worn.
I don't have problem missing pieces TBH. The world is not lack of beautiful clothing. But I wish they could host trunk shows if this is how business is conducted down the road.

I know. You have to rely on a good sa to try to reserve sizes for you. But what if something grows on you in the meantime ? Like the cute cropped black jacket w the white trim. I didn’t reserve but I was lucky that someone didn’t snag it before I was able to try it.

and I’m sorry Chanel is playing games too. That is :(

Unfortunately it is the way now with Chanel. I just started buying Chanel rtw the beginning of this year and have been going in the store so frequent to either pick up pieces from alternations or when they get new pieces in or to pick up pieces I pre-ordered. Everything is true what @jennyy says, based on my SA, the popular items were either pre-sold, preordered before they can hit the floor, I doubt they even have enough pieces to show for a trunk show! Often times my SA has to fight and to look for pieces for me to try on, if I hesitated not getting them on the spot, they are gone the next day or even the same day, she would email me immediately too if a popular piece has been returned and use my card on file to reserve it first, it happens all the time! During the launch date for Coco Neige and the new Cruise 22’ when I couldn’t make it to the store (besides the pieces pre-ordered), I have to reply on my SA’s messages to buy the piece with my card on file so I can hold it and when I go to the store to try on, if it doesn’t fit well, I will then return and get refund and there are usually people and SA waiting for the pieces to be returned so they can get their hands on it, so crazy!!

With the presale, when we picked out the pieces I’d like to buy, they will be on hold for me until it is approved by the management, if another VVVIP also likes the piece it will go to them depending on your and their spending history with the boutique . The only way you can guarantee to have a piece is to have your credit card on file or preordered and paid in full, it is charged and yours. Otherwise like bags, accessories works the same way, anything else on the floor is first come first served
