I think it would look great on quite a lot. A plain t-shirt, a white collared blouse, over a long sleeve sweater for mild winters etc. I’m just not sure I want all those words in the Tweed. The one I am most seriously considering is the fringed Lesage. The 34 is almost perfect fit. But it’s black/ white. Again. (Personal consideration for my own wardrobe only, certainly not dissing it at all).
the letters are subtle - this is someone who will never wear a logo product - and the buttons are so cute.
It's a very light vest so it's probably not for colder weather?
Yes on the black jacket. I'm eyeing on the black with white stitches. The collar somehow sits awkwardly and I will need to consult with the tailor.

As for the fringed lesage---yes, it is black and white again but it does have threads of other colors in it---blue, pink, silvery gray, and beige. I think it could be cute with a top and/or accessories/jewelry that bring out those colors somehow. But then again, I'm biased as I bought this jacket! One reason I love it is that it is incredibly light weight, so it will be easy to pack and versatile for travel---worn with wide leg jeans and a graphic tee for day and over a simple shift and fabulous jewelry at night.

Oh I agree totally! It is an amazing jacket and actually suits the local weather here all year round. I am just wondering if I should add another jacket B/W because I have 4 black and 2 white and I hardly wear them. I was looking at adding more colour and apparently Cruise 2022 isn’t selling as fast over here as the local taste is for bright colours. As I said, it was a purely personal consideration on my part, whether to purchase it. Congrats on your new jacket, I do like many elements of it and I am sure it would be fabulous on you.

It is very personal. Have you considered the blue lesage vest? It is absolutely gorgeous.(I haven't seen one in person but I'm drooling over the detailed pictures.)

Thank you, @periogirl28. You always make a great decision and look fabulous in what you choose--hope you find that somehow in this collection!

You are way too kind. As I said before, I always love trying on the new pieces, admiring the designs nd fabrics, and I certainly enjoy the photos and reviews shared here. My Chanel collection will grow very slowly from now on as I try to limit myself to pieces I “can’t live without”.:angel:

I love seeing everyone’s try-on pics! Cruise hasn’t officially launched here but a lovely SA showed me a few things today. Apologies not the best photos - was rushing as the store was closing (impulse visit on my part). Sadly my store does not yet have the black crop jacket with white trim or the pink skirt.

For reference I’m 5’2 and usually size 34. Hope these pics are helpful!

Wore my gold 21A skirt which has become one of my favourite pieces because it’s so versatile. The black dove T-shirt is quite cute. The black skirt is probably a bit too long on me but I love the subtle white trim and lining. I didn’t think I would like the pink jacket but I loved it on. The white skirt is the matching skirt for the long white jacket. The long jackets however (just have photo of the black in 36 but also tried the white in 34) are too overwhelming on my short stature. The Lesage tweed is cool but not really my style.

I’m thinking of getting the pink jacket but would like to try it with skirt before deciding because I like to have sets
You have lots of terrific choices. Did you like the tee shirt? Do you remember the price? tx

Stopped by my store to pick a bag on reserve from cruise but really surprised at the lack of RTW they had on the floor. Swung by BG and it's the same-only 4 items out from cruise. Really couldn't tell if they were all reserved and presold or just haven't arrived yet.

Wondering if you ladies/gents are experiencing the same at your local stores?

I wanted a pair of boots from cruise so I visited the saks store after my rtw visit - all sold out!
I have a feeling that they made very few for each style. Perhaps it is the strategy?
Regardless, a lot of it is luck. Right time and the right mood. If it's not available I can always wait for the next collection. I'm less nervous about it in general ;-)

that jacket looks amazing on you .. great choice!! just curious ... how tall are you? i'm 5'2" and never even considered this jacket because i assumed it would overwhelm me. now i'm wondering if i made a mistake. hmmmmm
Personally I think you really have to try in person, because out of the three styles, they have different length. I couldn't tell with the 38 they had on floor - I'm a 34.

Isn't the second tweed beautiful?
Does anyone have tips in styling a vest like this? I never know how to wear them but I really love the fabric...
I wear mine over white button-downs + any bottom (denim, trousers, skirts, etc.) or over lightweight turtlenecks (I think that ribbon vest will look nice in combination with white or light gray turtlenecks) and the same bottom options. I think it can also look very nice on it's own or with a cami/tank top underneath. Now that I think of it, may even look lovely layered over a simple LBD.

Thank you so much! I am 5'6". Definitely agree that you should try it on and see if it suits you! You might also want to ask your SA if they could remove some of the length for you through alterations, if you prefer a slightly shorter coat!
