Thank you! I’m sorry I didn’t get the tag for the cream one but here is for the black. I’m sure you can find it using this. Yes current season. So you know, this was my favorite dress but I am VERY sensitive to itch and it would have driven me crazy! If your not as sensitive it’s amazing!

Could I ask something - if it’s current season should the code start with 21k. Does 20B indicate it’s a piece from 2020? I’m obviously missing something but just wondered whether there were 2 sets of codes.

Oh gosh I can’t help you there. I figured since my SA was ordering in new sizes that it was current season but you may know better.

No I’m a relative newbie - hoping someone of the more knowledgable ladies will help explain. I’ve seen this in Chanel recently too so it must be current - but I think they can sell 4 seasons at a time - ? Is that right

Jackets are great and timeless but has anyone ventured into Chanel winter coats ? This is from 21k.

I guess it’s climate dependent and only those with a proper winter to wrap up in might invest. Does anyone use Chanel as a daily coat? What are your thoughts on the cut of this one? It’s a loose fit but does it fit the Chanel look of elegance? They are very expensive so I’d guess you’d want to get some decent wear.80903BFA-5609-46CD-8F94-4C8FC18EC5EC.png

Here’s what I got from AW’21 collection… pretty much the most wearable ones..
2 from my local boutique, and the others from my recent Switzerland trip.. the wallet is empty now…
Love all of these! Thank you so much for sharing them!

@Hanash, I collect coats and have a few chanel. The ones that are 100% cashmere have held up well for years. (I rotate all of my coats, so probably none have had very heavy usage) But, I would not be able or willing to buy at today’s prices bc i could not justify cost per wear. JMO though! I love the second pic you posted

yes it looks amazing - I couldn’t tell if the black coat was embellished or not as it seemed to have a sparkle but that might just be the lighting. Haven’t seen it being displayed so I guess they are made in small quantities.
The first coat has a cape version which I’ve seen so I know what the tweed is like - has a gold shimmer. But the cape felt very heavy on the hanger. I didn’t try as I m not sure a cape is that useful for me.
I’ve tried on the current season long cream coat - too narrow for me on the hips and too long so definitely a no- go. I agree re prices !!

I have a question on the following jacket - have any of you worn this jacket for a few times by now? I'm curious how this tweed has held up?

I also have another crazy idea - if people think the one-piece so impractical, why not cut the bottom and make it a fitted jacket? I know I'm overly caffeinated :giggle:

I've worn this jacket on three occasions and both the tweed and sequins remain in excellent condition. I've not worn the jacket under a coat and most likely never will to avoid any fabric friction.
