Chanel RTW ~ Reveals, Chit-chat & Info thread

This has happened to me. She asked for my opinion. Then said I was too judgmental and hasn’t spoken to me since.
This is why I prefer to shop on my own; with like minded individuals; or DH.

Oh, I really don’t miss her..
as much as I love Chanel and I’m dressed predominantly in Chanel I must admit that the clothes are beautiful, but not very flattering, the beautiful tweeds are bulky and require lots of attention while combining with other materials.

That’s sad, ari about your “friend”. Did she want you to lie about the piece? If she didn’t want the truth then she shouldn’t have asked. Like my mom always said, “With friends like that, who needs enemies.” You did the right thing by telling her the truth.

She didn’t know Chanel before she met me, I introduced her to my SAs all over Europe and she was buying everything I bought Including fragrances /even got upset I didn’t share with her that I bought a new perfume/ then decided to order something remotely and I told her that IT MIGHT NOT look good on.. and she stopped calling me. Actually I feel relieved. she tried to find out what I’m buying through another friend and at the moment she understands she orders the same thing to the SA I introduced her….

A few fun pieces I tried on today. Still deciding I love all the new fall stuff! I’m 4 months pregnant so trying to find some fun fall pieces that will grow with me, but will still be wearable after bebe arrives.

I love the dress on you I bought the white one and it’s so comfortable under the coats that now I consider buying the black one too. I might get a size bigger for length.
The pink jacket is fantastic too!
It has a great fit!

Hi Chanel RTW lovers… just wanted to share a lovely experience I had at the Chanel boutique in Geneva. It was so pleasant that I walked out with more then 5pcs of RTW.. I am crazy I know.. but when a SA clicks with me, gave me surprisingly great service when I thought I would be snubbed, my heart just melt. And what worked was that they had items in my size! Whereas in my home country… getting a RTW item in my size is like pulling teeth… and of course I am not any EIP or VIP.. but when stocks are so limited, it is tough for someone to start becoming VIP..

Glad I am able to contribute to this thread with a positive experience… now I hope I get the same treatment if I start asking for bags… you know what I mean..

You are stunning, streamlined, and inspiring in all of your RTW choices. Chanel really suits your long, lean lines, and you pick perfectly for your coloring! sometimes it’s a relief that an ex friend ceases to engage

You are absolutely right. I'm currently shopping for a satin textured skirt to pair with one my jackets. It's fun, and I look forward to sharing more styling pics with all the lovely ladies here.

I also have another crazy idea - if people think the one-piece so impractical, why not cut the bottom and make it a fitted jacket? I know I'm overly caffeinated

There are some women who find copying to be a validation of their choices. I know a couple of women who urge friends to buy the same
things they do so they can be “twins.” They also copy others constantly for the same reason. I guess they are very unsure of themselves and/or lack originality.
