Thanks for the likes and thoughts on the denim pieces, would love to hear more views. SA is transferring in the blue denim skirt (one size up though) so I could give the full look a try.

@pigleto972001 you’re the cardigan queen who must have sold countless for Chanel posting your photos.

@880 love the cardigan top on you too and I’m tempted having tried it on 2 occasions. But for now another cardigan won out which is so different from my usual CC ones. Love the fun design and soft colours and the ramson note letters were not as in your face kinda camouflaged by the fabric pattern. Generally prefer shorter cardigan as it de-emphasises my longer torso.

Thanks! I’m now thinking of the fitted denim jacket lol
did you try the cardigan in your first pic above both ways? Embellished for 5800 USD and regualr for 4200? I could not justify the 5800 bc it would get worn less frequently, but I did think it was very very nice. I love the ransom letter cardigan on you! My SA is bringing in both the cardigan and the faux cardigan was ransom pullover in my size. If the pink trim ransom you tried is anything like the grey one I tried, it’s the stretchy, harder wearing fabric that I prefer. DH, who doesn’t like logos, does like the ransom details (he says it’s at least tongue in cheek and yes camouflaged! ) or some dior book totes (bc it’s graphically part of the aesthetic of the bag) So for some of our members who shy away from logo, maybe we could wear them ironically

I did not know the b/w cardigan came in an embellished version! I definitely prefer the simpler one. The material is so soft and I love the patterns on it. I was really surprised how well the ransom cardigan wears in person (I wasn’t enamoured by the photos during preorder earlier this year). The combination is whimsical and like your DH so rightly puts it tongue in cheek yet totally wearable. There was a matching short tank top and the cut of the neckline just doesn’t work on me. For the Dior book tote, I considered the myriad patterns and kept coming back to the oblique print. The neatness of the graphical pattern is just pleasing to my eyes haha. Your DH is a smart man, pure keeper. Lucky you!

Thanks! DH loves to shop, and we love stores where we can both shop together and share an SA  (that’s how I’ve ended up with stuff from brunello cuchinelli, and custom shirts at dunhill, Borelli, and now turnbull and Asser lol. His only rule is the garment has to fit properly (none of but it’s the last one and I just had lunch excuse lol) sadly, Hermes men doesn’t appeal, plus the one time we crossed the street to men’s, our SA had to clear permission.

Haha- “clear permission” Hermès ought to start issuing multi store shop visas - I love Hermès but really sometimes they just wear me out.
My DH loves to shop, too. More than I do really - aren’t we both lucky that way??

Your DH and mine think alike lol! We are very lucky in that way, and likely many other ways! Hugs

Thanks GK. Gotta think how to wear/pair the jacket on its own. I adore the look of the set with matching skirt.

I think if you absolutely love it, then go for it! It’s a distinctive look, and I love the shoulders. For me, the price per wear of the set is too high. It probably won’t stand the rest of time as a classic. I also think it demands higher heels than I prefer. Where do you see wearing it?

100%
It shouldn't be this hard...

I finally got my denim jacket. It's cut very close to body which is rare for Chanel's recent collections. To my surprise, there is little work to be done - just shorten the sleeves. I love it.

Next up, the metier jacket. It checks all boxes: botton closure, cute trims, lovely tweed, etc.
My SA couldn't locate my size so I got thr 36..lots need to be taken in. Will take two fittings...anyways...here is the footballer look with the original shoulder pads...I hope the alteration keeps the original feminine and soft look.
