Are the prices high Pbp?

There is nothing terribly interesting to me and the one or two things that were mildly interesting are very expensive and not worth the price to me.

This is very pretty but it's a dress with shorts?! And $6100. If it was just a decent length dress and $4500 I might be tempted. The collar is separate and &3500 not that I can imagine anyone wanting to buy it.

I see what you mean (at a meeting and creeping peeks at the app). The skirts I liked ended up being lambskin and 8800. No thanks. Everything is high.

The collar is how much ?!? And look at the shoulders on that thing :)

I had the most interesting conversation yesterday that I thought I would share, with a woman who worked for Chanel in RTW for many years, back when there were only 5 boutiques in the US. She said clients would come in to the boutique and they had one lookbook to order from, and she would go to Paris to buy the looks for the boutique. It was like couture because there was no internet, no pictures other than the ones you could see in the boutique. The prices were high but not as high as now, and it was a much more individualized experience for RTW customers. As we've been saying here, "forever" pieces don't go out of style, and old styles keep coming back. She had a pair of slingbacks from the 80s and was happy that not only they came back, but also that the shoes had held up for so long. I wish I could have talked to her more about her experience, it was so fascinating!
