Thank you! I've been looking more into short sleeve/casual/summery tops. My SA keeps showing my jackets, which I do love, but let's be real-- I sweat too much and like to keep things light and airy these days. So this option came up, but I definitely had the same thoughts that it looked like golfing clothes.

Question-- Does Chanel come out with denim jackets every year? And every year it's around the same iteration of a standard denim jacket? I missed out at my local boutique and when I was finally ready to pull the trigger, my SA said my size was sold out in blue (and 2nd choice black). SO BUMMED! But I had a bad experience 2-3 weeks ago when I tried buying the embroidered denim jeans from NM. I also realized through that process that I like to stay "loyal" to my Chanel SA because she's fun to shop with and takes good care of me, so I don't want to search for it elsewhere. I'm bummed that I missed out this year, but there will always be a Chanel denim jacket for me in the future, right?

For reference, it's this easy breezy jacket...so perfect for my casual taste:

Alterations can make a larger jacket fit your frame easily! I’d get one size up and try it! Or, you can have your SA order it for you from another store. I REALLY wanted my black jacket in a size 36 and she ordered it for me to be delivered to my home from Neimans even though I went to the BH boutique. Then I brought it back to my SA to get the sleeves shortened.

This jacket runs Large in my opinion. You may be able to find a smaller size. I’m usually US 8-10, but the 40 fit me perfectly!

These are the denim jackets and jeans coming in August from Metier D’art Collection. Jacket is 3750 euro.
