When I read 70s bourgeois, somehow I thought YSL smoking jacket and belle du jour... but I tend to confuse decades

my SA got me the black cardigan in a size 40. She and I like the relaxed fit. I could also fit easily into the 38, but it was too cropped even on my short 5’2” frame. With the matching top and vuori’s this afternoon. 21p jacket; azzedine alaia flannel knife pleat dress; hermes croc chaine d’ancre bag; valentino mules for dinner

@Jenni_Jenn, love the pink 21C below! And you look fantastic in jeans!
TY! Love your cardi, jacket and everything about your outfits!! ... especially the infamous vuiro joggers, need to buy some stat :happydance:

I am trying to find a picture of the purple one. Posting pictures is not my best thing. I will try later when I get some time. It's not exactly that they shipped 6 jackets when I only wanted two. The only real mistake they made was shipping two pink/blue when I wanted a pink blue and a yellow. But their customer service is terrible. When I called to tell them of the mixup, the lady started off kind of condescending.

I just paid on the card so I didn't go over my limit. I will get a refund when all these jackets are credited. I had NM put the smaller size on my NM card and when the dust settles, she will move it to my Visa. I stopped using my NM card because I get 2.65% cash back on my Visa so it's a much better deal than gift cards with points.

The biggest pain is that I probably am going to go to Chicago tomorrow to return the two blue/pink jackets. Going to the city is a hassle because it's hard to park down there. Then you have to make an appointment or wait out front to go in. I really don't want to go on a Saturday. I could just mail them back and let them refund it. I don't know. I will figure it out. The lady was so apologetic, it was hard to be mad at her. She said you are being too nice about it and making me feel worse.

There is a valet on Oak St right before the Chicago Chanel boutique on the right side. If you're more comfortable parking in a garage try SpotHero in advance and you can probably get a discounted price, esp on a Saturday. When I went to the boutique last Saturday there was quite a line outside FYI, I had an appt so not sure how long the wait was. Good luck if you decide to go on Saturday!

Hello everyone! Thanks @880 for pointing me to this wonderful thread. Would anyone know a trustworthy sales in Europe? Long story short, I’ve had a few pretty awful experiences at my local store, very unhelpful with “foreigners” like me.... to make the matter worse, the one sales I actually like is no longer at the store. I’m looking to work with someone for the long term on rtw and shoes, and fine jewelry (nothing but only casual pieces). I’m not a VIP but I’m a loyal customer. I’m based in EU so for tax purposes it would be the best for a sales also in EU (Germany in particular but I can do Paris as well). Really anywhere is fine, as long as they are willing to speak English with me. Thanks so much for your help in advance!! :ty:
I’ll ask my SA in Berlin and my SA in Paris and get back to you. I guess you have purchase history in Germany?
For Paris, you have to have purchase history in the boutique /rue Cambon 19/ in order to buy remotely, but they are open now so you can go and then buy remotely.
I also have a contact in Selfridgres, but one needs to pay import tax after Brexit.

Nice new cardigan from my SA
Has anyone tried it? It looks like it has low shoulders and a bit voluminous at the top, but it’s very pretty

Thanks @ari ! I think Berlin even Frankfurt would work the best, given they can and are willing to communicate in English. My Deutsche is only ok, so English might be the best. :) I haven’t been to Paris last or this year, and tbh I don’t really NEED to buy from there. Just thought to throw it out there coz Paris is more of a popular location than anywhere in Deutschland. :)

Vielen dank A! :flowers:

Ps: yes I do have purchase history in Germany.

Yes, they do speak English. Unfortunately I don’t know anyone in Frankfurt.

Thanks. I used the valet last time and it's pretty convenient. I really didn't want to go on a Saturday because I knew it would be crazy busy. I am not sure how easy it is to make an appointment...especially to return two $10k jackets. lol. Anyway, I decided to just Fed Ex them back. There is a Fed Ex store near me so I just took them over yesterday. They said the stores should get them by Tuesday. I just want them off my credit cards ASAP. We are thinking about buying a house and I learned last month that if my credit card is closed to being maxed out, it really hits my credit score. The limit isn't very high because some financial advisor talked me into getting the card because it has a 2.65% cash back and I had a big tax bill last year and he said I could pay the taxes and get the spread. It turned out to be a big PITA to do it and I opted not to but the credit limit is low and I never had it raised. I like the card though. It's fine for normal life but not having a bunch of Chanel items on it.
