It was very soft to the touch. It reminded me of the robot jacket but the robot is a bit more scratchy. It has vents in the front and back. Very spacey :smile:

My husband who is a Star Trek nerd said I looked like a Romulan haha.



I like the length of the skirt. A nip and tuck and it will be perfect. Very elegant.

PbP, I agree about your buying strategy, that is my plan for now anyway, but sometimes I surprise myself.

I paid about 27% in tax and duties. I didn't mind the 13% tax because that is what we pay on every thing we purchase, but the additional 13% duty was harsh. :-/

MA has sales tax on clothing. My SA told me to expect the change which just happened this week. I'm happy with my fall purchases. Enough said. [emoji6]

I'm not sure. The one in the Chanel photo is probably about 4 inches shorter than mine, which makes sense given my height. Mine is also sitting at my true waist since it's a bit large but I like that. Im going to bring it to my favorite Chanel tailor. I like the longer length. The zipper at the back slit is also kind of sexy. I'm trying to resist the siren's lure of the two tone boots.

I'm always open to surprises. You never know. I liked one jacket from mission control but it duplicates something I have. I knew Act I would be great for me when I saw the iPad a few months ago. I really like the white cruise suit and that would give me a black, a navy and a white lightweight jacket for warmer weather. Plus I could use a little break to water my money tree. And enjoy my vacation which is coming soon.

Well you can pull off the boots if you like them. Luckily, I can't do heels so my wallet is safe on those ones.
There are a couple of items from Cruise that I really want, and they are different from what I already have. It will be really fun to see what everyone selects from Cruise. I have a somewhat boho style, so it suits me better than most seasons.

Pbp the two tone boots are so pretty and ladylike. I like em. I just can't do heels sigh :)

TT, the skirt is divine and I'm going to dream about it. It's a heavy thicker cotton. It has a silk lining I believe. It was a bit heavy but surprisingly even though it was high waisted and a size down it was pretty comfortable. It has side slits. I wish the pic made it look as cute as it was in real life. It was fairly slimming :)

The white skirt is similarly cut. When my SA hung it on the hanger it broke the chanel hanger ! [emoji33]

I'm looking at the hoodie like I could wear that a bunch LOL ! I liked it with the skirt. They are opposites :). The matching sweater will be pretty !IMG_1504142653.547955.jpg

I have you to thank for the cashmere dress enabling. I was shocked at how not-hot it was. So comfortable - I was afraid it would be too hot like some of my wool dresses.

Hey genie ! Girl I dream about them boots every night. I had a dream I tried on the ivory blouse and that skirt and the boots and I was about to buy the boots but I woke up. Arrrrrgh !!! I keep asking my people and they keep seeing those dang boots when they close their eyes haha. I think there will be a lot of relieved people when I finally get to try them. I sure hope they work !!!

Haha. That is actually a model at chanel, sorry pbp ! Not me. She IS quite slim. Thought I'd show off the sweater and enable some on the boots ! Haha :)

Same here. I would love to be cool enough to wear mission control but I'm just not . . .and there are several dresses from Cruise that look like they would fit very well in my closet. Failing that I will wait until spring!

This jacket is beautiful

The sweatshirt and hoodie were cute. They are not all that soft and it's a little scratchy, not itchy.

This skirt I loved to pieces haha. It was a 36

It is a substantial Cotton. There are slits up the side that can be closed. It makes me happy haha. I wish I had the lifestyle for it. It's also 4600 phew nelly !

This was a bit larger in a 44 so we had to pin it up a little. I loved this one too but it's ivory w purple iridescent thread in it. Very very pretty. View attachment 3809973

Again it won't fit my lifestyle sigh.

I didn't get anything yet but funnily enough may consider the hoodie as I think I would use it plenty. It comes w a cover for dry cleaning I think.

Looks great! Such wearable pieces! I was eyeing that green dress myself since I have a cardigan with trim that matches, but I have limited wear for cashmere in my climate. Congrats!
