Love it! Personally, I prefer my dresses to hit about an inch above the knee or be true midi length. This looks to be in between.
What season is this dress? I tried a similar one several years ago and passed on it but kind of regret it. Could you hate the style number and season? Thanks!
It's funny you ask that. It doesn't have the tag with the fabric and season the way most Chanel clothing does. I asked about it but they had two others of the same dress and neither of them had the tag either. My SA thought it might be because it's a "seasonless" piece - very plain. It's from last year. (Interested to know if this sounds familiar to anyone!) Anyway, Saks has several if you're interested. Here's a pic of the price tag in case that helps with style info!

Squints ... I think my Neimans has the same dress ! I can't remember what year it was, only they said it was classic so never made sale. It's very pretty. Personally I like the length on you. Also love the velcro jacket in the background [emoji7]
I managed to unravel the hem on the velcro jacket like the second time I wore it, so had to bring it in to be fixed, and spotted the dress while I was dropping it off. Funny how these things happen . . .

Can do. I think the one I saw had a hem in black which matched the sleeves and was a slightly different material than the bodice.

I fell in love with the Cuba fringe skirt when I first saw it. I was not quite prepared to spend the jacket equivalent on a skirt back then and left it in the store. Visions of the skirt still hover in my mind. Recently a visiting stylist wore the skirt for a styling session and I fell in love all over again. One piece is available at full price and for my consideration.
It's such a beautiful and unique piece. Of course, being a Lesage makes it more special. My one concern is that it does make the hips appear quite wide, probably due to the multiple overlaying strips. But it's so beautiful and special, and it can be dressed up and down.
Would love to hear your thoughts on the skirt. Also, was it marked down in any store?
