Was going through the Bergdorf Goodman catalog that arrived today and saw some ground control.
This dress is so cool, but also stunningly expensive at nearly $20k.

This look actually reminded me of a Givenchy shirt I uncovered in yesterday's closet purge. I scored it in a vintage shop in Paris in 2010. Needless to say, I'm keeping it [emoji4]

For some reason the placement of the seams creates the illusion of hunched forward shoulders to me, which would not be a good look for me, but I think someone with the right frame could pull it off well. Lily Rose Depp certainly looks great.

Good point. You just never know without trying. I wasn't sure if the navy black belted jacket would work for me given the length and pocket placement. I knew it would either be perfect or a terrible miss. It will be interesting to see.

I love when fashion houses take inspiration from their decades-old collections. I think this is how the fashion powerhouses distinguish themselves from more modern competition - by staying true to their roots.

Edit: Thanks gracekelly for pointing out that Courrege is a separate design house! Still, I hope Chanel will take inspiration from their past collections for future ones!

Yes ma'am! I already tore the pages out hehe. I see the headband and bracelets have some freshwater pearls which I think chanel usually uses glass pearls. Is interesting.

Of course the headband is 2600 and the bracelets are 2500!
