I do love the distressed leather! I find that again, it makes the bag so versatile. My black 226 can go from cocktail party attire to jeans and a leather jacket. The leather is also really durable so I don't feel like I have to constantly worry about it or baby it when I'm wearing it. My blue 227 got rained on the very first time I wore it and you'd never know!

I typically like small bags, but I agree that the 226 size can be more versatile. Thanks for the info on the distressed leather, very helpful!

Oh my god she is so breathtaking!!! This is the 17p sheepskin reissue with black hardware? So so pretty! I actually think the matte leather suits the style very well. Congrats!

I am drooling over it! Really would like to get the exact same bag too and have been searching for it. Where did you get this? Since this is from the 2016 pre fall collection do I still have a good chance of finding it?

Yes! This one is from 17P in sheepskin. It just came out. You can try hirshliefers in NY. They had 2 more left last week. Or call around to the boutiques as well. Good luck!

Purseprincess09, you know what! I walked into my local store today just to try my luck and they actually did have the dream bag there! I bought it right away without thinking! Still Couldn't believe it is mine!

It was indeed just a matter of luck. I didn't expect I could run into it today. I thought I didn't hear what she said and needed a min to understand what she said LOL. There was another color, a orange red color with gold chain, but I figured that I wanted the black so I can use it more. :)

However I find it a bit difficult to put the lock in place compared to the CC lock. Is that normal for all reissues? Is it the case for you as well?

Definitely black would be more easy to wear.

Yes, I believe it is more difficult to lock in place from what I've read on here and on YouTube reviews of reissues. It requires more concentration to close than cc closure.

You get used to the lock. Then it becomes second nature.
